Happy 4th of July everyone
Exploring just like my ancestors XD
Last Saturday my best friend and I were bored so we drove to an empty house to investigate it.
It was near a busy road so I can tell people driving by saw us walking up to it. Unfortunately my
friend "chickened out" and didn't want to enter. But I did by myself, armed with just a camera.
It was like going back in the past, everything looked kinda old there. I did NOT vandalize or steal anything there.
I took nothing but photos and left nothing but foot prints.
Although I did not include all of them...Check out the photos here: sta.sh/226t6s63ug4d?edit=1
Yup that's my leg/foot going up the stairs in one of the staircase photos!!!!!!!!!!!
The stairs seemed kinda dangerous.
There was stuff there from the 1970's
like a newspaper and an old 70's camping book. I wasn't even born
yet until a long time after. There was also a 1960's book on "Japanese Gardening". I found a 1997 prescription
bottle, and with the name I found out that a 89 year old Japanese dude lived there. I blurred the Rx number,
last name, and phone number for privacy reasons on his behalf. Someone kept tagging/graffited male sex organs on the walls,
so I didn't include those photos (how mature -_- right?). They also graffitied a pentagram on the floor because
that's what cool kids do nowadays -_- I guess.
After a few minutes my friend called my cell phone asking where I was. I told him I was almost done
exploring (though I was annoyed because I had to hurry). So after my friend and I left, we went to eat
lunch and I went home to take a nap.
I really don't know why abandoned places are cool, they just are to me.
Maybe it's because I think history
is fascinating. Hopefully I can find some more cool places to check out one day!
Thank you for reading all this!!!~
