" A labour of love...and it shows" Abi Woodrow
"The archetype of the superhero is explored in a contemporary way" Natalie Knowles
"I love Vibes' snarkiness and her attitude...she reminds me of girlfriend" @LexDaXMan
"Plenty of opportunity to become immersed in the characters' world" JV Nerdson
Vibes McAllister thought she was a (relatively) normal DJ... but recently she has been seeing strange visions. Is she really the superhero psychic vixen AK Girl, destined to join a team to save the world?
So a quick rundown on this story- Sal has arrived at Dr Anty's alternative health centre, where she wants to talk about why she didn't immediately find Vibes and Guillermo. As Anty delves deeper, he realises that all is not as it seems...
To be clear, this won't be the final previews, just in terms of WIP pics like this one. Reynard City Chronicles is a reboot of the webcomic series. Issue 1 is already available on the site for both download and print. Every copy you buy supports the artists that make it happen!
Special thanks to Rev701, Leigh Reeves and now Dr Jess Austin for taking three of the four cameo appearance slots in Issue 2, there is one left, find out how you can get that and support the comic in other ways (Rewards start at just $1!) here- www.reynardcity.com/reynard-ci…
Had a bit of a clearout of the Deviantart, mainly pics that referred to a site we don't have any more. For $1 on our Patreon you can access some archived comedy sketches http://www.patreon.com/reynardcity
So for those of you wondering, Reynard City Chronicles 2 will see the return of some prominent villains, plus more of Wondervixen's backstory. If you are curious about how we got to this point, you can get Reynard City Chronicles #1 via www.reynardcity.com
So to be clear this is a work in progress. I don't want to spoil it but if you check out the webcomic archives on www.reynardcity.com you might be able to piece some of it together. In effect, I would compare Reynard City Chronicles to the 2012 Ninja Turtles cartoon- we want to build on what we did before, keeping its spirit but adding a few twists and turns (in some cases things we wanted to do but didn't get around to, and other ideas that came through in other scripts and stories that didn't get made).

However, I felt this was important because I am trying to get more support going for our next issue. Don't get me wrong, the Patreon people and the people who have bought the comic thus far have been phenomenal and I am grateful to them for all they've done.
The reason this is important is because blademanunitpi and StriderSyd worked for a year on Reynard City Chronicles Issue 1 and we worked closely to build on the feedback people gave us regarding both the artwork and the story, with thus far most reviews being really positive- you can see John Paul Guerra's promo trailer here
We are now working on Reynard City Chronicles #2 with JoeltheSwedishDragon who is also proving to be very dedicated and keen to use his art to get the most from the story. I hope we can do full previews soon, but for now we are keeping them to Patreon and other crowdfund backers (referenced in the journal above).
We would love it if you could help us out by backing us through Patreon, Ko-Fi or Paypal. As well as the regular rewards, we've also added sponsorship options to Ko-Fi and Patreon for people who want to do it through there- this is ideal if you have a comic, artwork commission page or business you want to promote (also through sponsorship) - This starts from just $1 a month, as well as options for one off donations.
Don't worry- we still have plenty of free stuff too, including comic videos, the original Reynard City webcomic archive and we'll be posting more art as we get it. We also have the 6000 followers Twitter video we're working on, and will putting together a collection from the winners of our Reynard City Writing Contest (Still time to enter that and win prizes too!)
