Ok so some of this is covered in our latest blog (www.reynardcity.com/reynard-ci…
) but I wanted a little bit of a personal chat here too, as I realise I don't blog here as often as I should.
For starters I am grateful to Deviantart for a lot, in terms of the talent I've met, the promotion for my project and the communities I've been a part of I wouldn't have known about. There are a lot of great artists out there, and it's great that they have shared this.
Now with a reboot comes a fact- I made some mistakes, and in all likelihood will make other mistakes along the way. I know I have affected people and not always done things in the best way. But last night for me was one of those rare moments where things came together when I needed them to.
If you are a creator, I really recommend you do this- get some help, get a venue together and share your work. It doesn't have to be elaborate, doesn't even have to cost that much. But seeing a mix of people together, reading your work (and also blademanunitpi StriderSyd
etc) and trying out cocktails based on your characters (Yes really!), incredible.
I hope you will support us as we relaunch Reynard City, I'm just so happy. And yes I did try one- the Caramel Girl Espresso Martini in case you're curious!
