It's been a few years since I've last logged in...and I must say WOW, I absolutely hate the new layout. Long story short, I got divorced 3 1/2 years ago and have been working full time as a copywriter since. The only time I have to do any artwork these days is for limited cover commissions. I am working from home for the time being due to COVID, so I may be able to work in some fun stuff. I've had a lot of stuff sitting on the back burner for a long time now. Just haven't had much motivation to do it. Plus my PC died, which had all of my project odds and ends on it. I've been using my laptop, but it's just not powerful enough to run Photoshop for long periods without freezing up. So hopefully I'll get back into the swing of things at some point. Though I don't know how much of it will end up on here. I really REALLY hate this new version of the site.

Wow...I didn't realize that it's been close to a year since I've done a journal update.  The past few months have been very rough.  I'm slowly working on getting through it and back on track with everything.  I'm on vacation this week at the beach, so that helps. I'm currently working on the finial cover for the Lonely World Trilogy.  This one is pretty extensive so it's going to take me a bit to do.  Finding stock has been a nightmare since Dollar Photo Club got bought by Adobe Stock.  While it's not as bad as iStock or some of the other places, Adobe Stock is still pretty high...especially when it's starting at $80 per image for unlimited
