Final Fantasy VII vs Honkai Impact 3rd

Connections:

Both are long haired god-like beings with a sly smile who survives as the main antagonists in their respective parts of their stories (Final Fantasy VII and the first half of Honkai Impact 3rd Part 1.5 respectively)

Both are related to god like aliens from birth (Jenova and Sa respectively) before they would go onto eventually take their powers for themselves, as well as gain powers from cosmological structures that govern all life (Lifestream and Sea of Quanta respectively) allowing them to use a unlimited supply of magical/spiritual based attacks from their verses (Materia and Honkai Energy respectively), as well as objects they summon (Meteor and Star Traveler respectively), and lastly their ultimate abilities (Supernova and time rewind respectively)

Both had goals that involved dead worlds (Promised Land and Venusrespectively) and the now mostly extinct civilization (Cetra and Venusians respectively) they both also have clones of themselves and have/could have ultimate final boss type forms (Bizarro & Safer Sephiroth and Sprout of Wishing: Omniscient Wings & Sa's forms Three Afflictions & Tribulations of Life respectively) both are also connected to the main protagonists in some way (Sephiroth was initially assumed to be Cloud Strife's old partner and is responsible for the destruction of Cloud's hometown of Nibelheim, while Vita is a Goddess of Venus similar to Kiana Kaslana whose the Goddess of Earth.)

Both have/had worked with other protagonists before (Zack Fair and Dreamseeker/Entropy respectively), have also worked with major organizations (Shinra and Schicksal and Anti-Entropy respectively)

However, while Sephiroth was loyal to Jenova and sought to complete her goals to the Promised Land, Vita eventually betrayed Sa and joined the heroes becoming a major albeit untrustworthy and helpfully anti-hero
