Metroid vs StarCraft
Two bombshell hunters enter the field, but only one cane make it out alive.
Connections:
Both are female, blonde video game characters who were orphaned at a young age due to a mass genocide (Samus' parents were killed by Ridley and the Space Pirates during the raid on the K-2L colony and Nova's parents were killed by anti-Confederate rebels) which led them to become space hunters
Both of them afterwards would gain access to new abilities/enhancements to their bodies (Samus gaining Chozo DNA and Nova awakening to her psionic powers)
Both of them as teenagers would be trained by warrior species (The Chozo and The Ghosts) to become more skilled with their unique physiology) before leaving to join galactic alliances (The Federation Force and The Ghost Squad) Despite this, Both of them are known for being deadly lone wolfs that tend to go into missions alone.
Both are also known for wearing skintight spacesuits

No doubt Novaterra is the most sublime and beautiful assssin to have ever existed, but Samus is quick, nimble and deadly, and she can apply deadly force instantly. Samus stuns Nova from a distance with a powerful beam, then fires three successive missiles which explode the beautiful Nova into a fireball. Over in seconds.
