Both are happy-go-lucky and ditzy girls who are the main characters of sci-fi magical girl media (Video games and animes respectively) made by very famous companies (Satelight and miHoYo respectively)

Both use suits/armors that allows them to enhance/amplify their abilities (Hibiki has the Symphogear armor Gungnir while Kiana has multiple Battlesuits)

Both of them grappled with the responsibilities of wielding great power especially after the death of a someone who entrusts the future to them (Himeko Murata and Kanade Amou respectively)

Both would become members of teams dedicated to fighting threats to their home (Valkyries and S.O.N.G respectively). Said threat is a cataclysm that takes multiple forms but most notably those of mindless beasts (Noise and Honkai respectively)

Both of them would awaken berserker states of some kind (Hibiki gains the Ignite Module while Kiana awakens as the Herrscher of the Void following Otto's experiments)

Later on they would awaken a stronger form that requires a fusion (Hibiki would gain the amalgam form by fusing her Symphogear with the Faust Robe, while Kiana would fuse with Himeko's essence to become the Herrscher of Flamescion)

Finally they would gain a final form that signifies their growth but within themselves and in their outward strength (X-Drive and Herrscher of Finality respectively)
