Description
These two bio-mechanical heroes clash. Will Rex prove himself to be the ultimate living weapon? Or will Max Steel be too much for Rex and take this fight from the get-go?
Connections:
Both are teenage cartoon heroes who started off as ordinary people until they gained biomechanical superpowers after forming a symbiotic relationship with biotechnological beings that were originally intended for more sinister purposes (Steel and Nanites respectively), with their fathers secretly having direct involvement in incidents related to said sinister purposes and how they both got their powers (Rafael Salazar injecting nanites in Rex to save his life and Jim McGrath seeing his son Max using Steel as a pacifier before the Turbo Star test)
Both are also equipped with various different techno-modes and after losing control of their latent powers, they were discovered and recruited by organizations to fight biotechnologically enhanced supervillains and monsters around the world (Providence and N-Tek respectively)
Both have a blonde best friend (Noah Nixon and Sydney Gardner respectively) and share a close relationship with an agent in green colored attire (Agent Six and Forge Ferrus respectively)
Both are also archenemies with their series black-clad main villains (Van Kleiss and Miles Dread respectively) who were present and changed in the incident that killed the main hero's father, as well as require absorbing the same power source they use in order to stay alive (Nanites and T.U.R.B.O. Energy respectively)
Both would also lose access to their arsenals at some point thanks to a villain (Rex had his Nanites drained from him by Van Kleiss, whereas Max and Steel were permanently separated by Terrorax) but obtained new innate powers that granted them a greater extension of their abilities (Omega-1 Nanite and Green T.U.R.B.O. Energy respectively)
With powers, its Rex, but it be damn difficult. Without superpowers, still Rex, because in all tense and purposes, Rex is a teenage soldier who train to deal with various threats with different abilities and ordinary people, while Jaime is an actual teenager with no training at all.
Without superpowers:
This is the obvious one, but some people think the differ when it comes to Rex's combat and BIQ as well IQ in general. Rex, even as a little kid, has allot of street smarts, which is evident with him being the right hand man for Quarry, a literal mob boss, and lead his own team as well. As a special agent, he had been train with the best, and train with the basic Providence cadets, who set training is known for their brutal routine. I mean, having the six most dangerous man on the planet who also has discipline and ninja arts is a mentor is a privilege of itself. Rex is also have some manipulation potential, evident with him manipulate No Face and Van Kleiss, and even being able to do literal complex geometry and computer analyzation, during the school and third Zag-RS episode.
With powers:
With powers, it's honestly Rex, because of a few reasons. Rex have fought Ben 10, specifically Humungousaur and Diamondhead. Humungousaur has resisted and punch a portal that was meant for time travel called the entropy pump. I mean, stated by Professor Paradox himself, this thing is literally capable of destroying reality in a several lightyears if improperly dispose of like bombing the place. And next is Diamondhead, the same alien that beat Warlord Vilgax, the same one that bitch slaps Humungousaur, and its non diluted DNA version was able to tank a Malware enhance version of the squid that lunch him into space. Rex was just sending the two flying around, and even make Chromastone infuse Diamondhead cough, which is impressive of itself. And another reason is Rex's technopathy. Let me tell you, Caesar even theorize and likely confirm at this point, that the reason why his Nanites' technopathy is so potent is because one of the Meta Nanite was inside of him for so many years, and one is mechanical. Meaning, that he has been enhance by literally a god code, capable of doing anything, and it is a tech base god Nanite. So, if Rex were to get his hands on the scarab, then it's obviously a lose because of that. Other than that, its honestly equal roughly. I mean, both dodge tachyons, both can withstand extreme heat and cold, and both even have a adaptive protocol that allows them to face any situation. The only thing that Jaime has over rex is his huge arsanal of weapons, as Rex has to actually memorize or use a pre-reprogram or even Omega-Nanite's self adaptive built to gain new weapons or tools, while Jaime can do it on the fly. but ultimately, Rex wins due to him having face stronger people and has a Technopathy that unless the tech is beyond Universal, is screwed.
Edit: ignore what I said, my apologies because I thought it was Blue Beatle, but nope. Still, rex wins because of the reasons above aside combat experience and arsanal of weapons, as both are equal. But the adaptive protocol and speed is giving Rex another win.
