Connections:

Both are famous animated villains created in the 2010s and lived in a world where people gain superpowers (Semblances and Quirks respectively)

Both came from a family with an abusive parent who constantly beat them (The Madame forced Cinder into free labor while using a shock collar, while Shigaraki's father Kotaro abused him because he hated heroes) until they hit their breaking point and killed them.

Both were then adopted in by dark and powerful villains (Salem and All For One respectively)

Both activated their powers at a young age (Scorching Caress and Decay respectively) but gained a new power later in the series (The Fall Maiden's powers and All For One Quirk respectively)

Both managed to take out one of the heroes' allies in front of their eyes (Cinder killed Pyrrha Nikos while Shigaraki severely injured Gran Torino)
