3D Origami Yoshi

Although I've mainly been making 3DO pokemon, Yoshi has actually been my favorite video game character since the first time I saw him, which was when I was 8. Now my Yoshi collection has increased by 50%! (well actually I have another plushie at home, but I couldn't bring everything to college)

Yoshi actually turned out better than I thought he would, although placing him next to actual Yoshi plushies makes the imperfections more obvious. Oh well, never stop being so friendly and adorable, Yoshi!

Wow it's very amazing! :D
Can you make a diagram, please? :)
Can you make a diagram for this? My brother is a huge yoshi fan and id love to surprise him with this!
hi, im a new deviant but have been doing origami for a hobby

im here to ask how you guys cut your paper into the specific sizee because i think what i do is very time consuming. i buy a big colored paper then cut it into strips then one by one to its specific size. do you guys do the same with what i do or is there a faster alternative?

email me at lancechesterlim@gmail.com
thank you

I'm really sorry for the late response, I was busy this summer. The size I use is 1/6 of a post-it note, so I just fold it in half and then into 3rds the other way. My scissors are pretty strong, so I can cut about 20 post-it notes at the same time, so that makes it a lot faster for me. If you use a different size, just try to cut as many layers as you can at the same time to save time.

Holy ashsla that's amazing!
Hi, if you don't mind me asking, how did you make the legs?
And also the eyes, how many pieces is the base? Thanks. =D

For the legs, I believe I started with a base of 6 pieces, continued for about 3 rows and then started adding pieces to only 1 side so they would fit with the shape of the body. I think the base for the eyes was 11 pieces while the base of the head was either 22 or 24 pieces. Let me know if you have any more questions or need me to clarify anything!
