Chapter 1 Tasks

Artisans Tasks

     Rubellite, Sugilite (Anthony), and Timpani were late. Victoria told them, but they didn't listen. Well, Timpani did, Rubellite to a lesser extent, but Anthony dragged them down. They were supposed to help the Artisans, Keepers, etc. They had a lot of time in their hands, but still wasted it by being late.

"Anthony, Sugilite, I blame you for this," said Timpani, the Solosis floating as fast as she could, flustered.

"Oh come on! We can't be on time for everything," shouted Sugilite, even though she didn't need to shout, her normal voice was loud enough.

"Just keep running you two! We'll get there, that's what matters," said Rubellite, and Sugilite smiled triumphantly at Timpani, until Rubellite kept saying, "but next time, let's go earlier!"

"You want earlier, you got earlier," said Sugilite.

     Sugilite carried both the Mr. Mime and the Solosis, then the Machamp went on a full on sprint, towards where the Artisans Tasks would take place, while, Timpani screamed for Sugilite to let her go, while Rubellite blushed, not wanting to be carried. As they got there, they saw all the teams there including their other half, Team War Angels. 

     Victoria spotted them first, and waved them over, while the rest of the team saw them. As they all got together, they started working. Anthony, still as Sugilite, helped with the stage creation, using her four arms to move heavy objects and paint four times faster the set. Victoria and Faith started with the costume designing, Faith helping with the tiny details, Victoria focusing on the larger ones. Timpani and Ruby helped Sugilite to whatever she needed or overlooked.

     Rubellite and Pommy went to Frankie, to have their portrait painted, the former kind of reluctant to do so, the latter excited that she was going to be a muse, whatever that was. Pommy went first, as they both had agreed. Pommy couldn't stop moving around, so it was hard to get a painting like that, but she was small, so the painting was easy, but a bit abstract. Rubellite showed much more stillness, like if she had do this before, but didn't smile for the painting, stayed with a frown throughout the whole thing. As they finished, they got their paintings, said a "thank you", then left to join up with the rest, for their next tasks.


Keepers Tasks

     After that, they all tried their best helping around, helping elderly pokemon with tasks they couldn't do anymore, using their abilities to help other people. After doing small tasks, they decided to do more complex ones.

"Okay Sugilite, pull," shouted Timpani to Sugilite, who was pulling a piano up to some pokemon house. 

"Rubellite, Victoria now you two pull," she said, while checking that nobody was under the piano, while they pulled on the rope. 

Ruby saw Timpani looking at them, and said, " It's okay, Pommy, Faith and have it under control!"

     Meanwhile, Sugilite was having a fight with the owner of the house, who was looking at his piano with a worried face. He asked Sugilite if they were really professionals, to which Sugilite responded with a, "if we weren't, would I do this," and let go of the rope, the piano falling. At that moment, a Ducklett was walking under the piano, ignoring Ruby's warning. Just before she was about to get crushed, Rubellite caught the piano, and while she could hold it up, she was shaking under the piano's weight. 

"Let's just use Psychic," said Timpani, not amused.

The team members who had Psychic used it together, which took less time than the whole rope thing. As they hastily apologized, they made their way away from the house and its annoyed, but satisfied, owner.


Trackers Tasks 

     As Victoria made her way to the road to Mosswood, she was stopped by a Braixen, and one look at him told her he was a bandit. Victoria lowered her top hat, which had a 'different' style from the rest, a mouth on the front with sharp teeth and a tongue sticking out, a bit of drool on it. The Braixen swung his stick around, then introduced himself as Xavier, and to pass, Victoria had to fight him in a "duel of honor". Of course, Victoria already knew that, but she pretended not to. She accepted, but reluctantly, hoping he didn't notice, which he didn't.

     He made Magic Room arena, which Victoria entered, knowing her Heal Bell Bows wouldn't work inside, but she didn't need them to. As they started, they exchanged moves, dodged, got hit, counterattacked. As Xavier was running towards her, she ducked and looked at him. He grinned at her as her top hat was taken away, but then he knew something was terribly wrong when Victoria smiled. He looked at the hat, but the hat had bitten into the Braxien's arm. As he tried to take it off, Victoria finished him with a Psychic attack, slamming him dowm. 

     As she returned back to Tabira, her teammates came from out of different hiding spots, as they were waiting there if something went wrong, but they all knew that it wouldn't go wrong. After all, their leader was the one who fought. 

     Victoria hugged the top hat, which turned into Anthony. The Ditto blushed, then turned back into Sugilite, which made Victoria take a step back, as she was taller than Rubellite. "Great work Anthony."

"Well," said Sugilite, adjusting her visor, "someone had to be at their top."


Scholars Tasks

     From there, the teams split up to do their tasks, Team War Angels were to find someone in the Scholars Guild, while Team War Demons were to clean, much to Sugilite's dismay. As they all went in different directions, they waved, even though they were going to see each other back home.

     Rubellite, Sugilite and Timpani got to work, dusting, rearranging, moving items. Timpani was a bit more energetic, possibly because of the 'pokemon like me', as she muttered, 'cleaning' the books, but she was actually reading them, gaining their knowledge, while Rubellite ignored Sugilite as much as possible.Sugilite tried to talk to Rubellite, but every time she tried, she was ignored, so she eventually gave up and kept cleaning.

     Yes, thought Victoria as she spotted one of the Scholars. Victoria stopped her, then showed her what she could do, or rather, she and Pommy, as they were doing a Heal Bell, with Pommy holding it with a Helping Hand, strengthening it even. As they showed her that, pokemon around felt the effect that came with Heal Bell, and turned to see. After finishing, a few pokemon applaused, with Victoria giving a embarrassed curtsy.
