If you have questions about something that is not mentioned here, please NOTE me.  I'm happy to discuss whatever it is you need.

I highly recommend asking me for a quote on your commission first.  That way there won't be any surprises for either of us!  I can get as much information as possible from you about your commission, and you get an accurate quote right off the bat.

DETAILS:
 Payment:
        a. Unless otherwise noted, payment is to be made via PayPal.
        b. 50% payment is due up front as a deposit, and 50% after completion.
        c. All prices are in USD
        d. Deposits are non-refundable.  Why?  The deposit covers me in case you decide at the last minute that you don't want your commission any more.  I can't do all the work for no reason!


  REFERRAL REWARDS:   

 If you refer a friend to me, and that friend commissions me for $10 or more, you will receive a $5 credit toward custom art!  NOTE: Your friend needs to mention you at the time of their purchase and not after the fact. 
        a. I do not place limits on the number of people you refer, so long as those people are spending $5 or more with me.  That means you could potentially refer 6 people and get a free digital painting if all 6 of them commission me!
        b. This program works on the honor system, so please don't try to cheat me into getting free art.  If I suspect this happens, you'll be added to a ban list and won't receive any art from me at all.

 Pixel Items:
        General base prices:     Simple Furc Items $2/ea • Complex Furc Items by Quote Only
                                                Emoticons (no animation) $2/ea • Emoticons (Animated) by Quote Only
                                                Non-Remap Furc Portrait $15/ea • Remappable Furc Portraits $15/ea 
                                                Sprites Available by Quote only
                                                Icons/Avatars by Quote Only

        a. Prices subject to change based on complexity of project, size of completed piece, number of characters/subjects involved, etc. 
        b. Your custom commissioned work will not be made available to the public.  It will be your own private piece, and you can choose to share it with your friends or not.
        c. In most cases I offer quantity discounts on pixel items, so if you need a whole set of objects for a group, forum, or other purpose, let me know!  I'm willing to work with you on package deals.



 Printable Designs:
        a. $10 price includes one (1) digital business design (Example: One business card, or one Invitation), whether completely custom OR from a template.  If you're interested in having a full stationary set designed, I can do that too.  Just Note me and we can discuss options and prices.
        b. ThePointedHat/PointyHat will NOT provide printed goods. You are responsible for ordering your own prints using the digital design you commissioned. 
        c. Your custom commissioned designs will not be made available to the public as a template, they're just for you!  Using one of my templates does not mean the template belongs to you afterward.  Templates are available to the public at all times.
        d. Your personal information will be blurred out on my DA listings to protect your privacy.
        e. Share my Facebook page on YOUR Facebook page, and I will do the same for you!


 Digital Paintings - Furcadia Portraits:
        a. Painted portraits include a 700x700 digital painting in addition to your 95x95 portrait
        b. As with everything else, extremely detailed or complicated images will incur additional fees.
        c. The starting price for these is also $15, same as the Pixel Portraits.


 Digital Paintings - Other:
        a. IMPORTANT - Please be as detailed as possible when providing me with information about your commission.  As of Jan 28, 2015 all digital paintings require price quotes on a case-by-case basis!
        b. You may select your completed painting's size, such as (in inches) 4x6, 5x7, 8x10 and so on.  These are standard print sizes which makes them easy to print and frame for home use, if you like.
        c. Additional sizes to fit your needs can be requested, though large format (poster sized) prints going above 11''x14'' require more work/detail/stress on my PC and will therefore incur an additional fee.
        d. Digital Paintings are high quality images which can be used in print OR in a digital format.  You may use your commissioned work for personal purposes.  For commercial work, please ask for a custom quote.
        e. Additional fees may be added for: wings, complex backgrounds, animation, large format sizes, etc.  Please provide as much information as possible when requesting a quote.

 Sketches / Line Art / Flat Color:
        a. If you'd rather not pay for a fully shaded digital painting, you can commission me for sketches, line art, or flat color works.  Just Note me your needs and I'll give you a quote.




 RULES:
 All scenes and settings are to be considered on a case-by-case basis.  I reserve the right to refuse a commission for ANY reason.
 All commissions rating PG-13 and below are most likely to be approved, including mild fetishes.
 Commissions rated R or X will need to be taken on a case-by-case basis. Let's face it: there are some things each of us find offensive, and in the event I find a request distasteful, I will respectfully decline.  (Note: You don't have to be afraid to ask.  The worst I'm going to say to you is something like, "Unfortunately I don't feel comfortable taking on a commission of that nature."  I won't bully you, call names, tell anyone about your preferences, call you a freak, whatever.  Let's all be civil!)
 I am willing to work with any gender pairing, provided your commission passes the above requirements.
 I am willing to work with any species pairing (like anthro and human combinations, canine and feline, dragon and - uh, I don't know... rodent?), as long as your commission passes the above requirements.
 I will make every effort to be polite, accommodating, efficient and all of the things that make a commission run smoothly!  Please do try and return the favor.  Being rude isn't going to make things any better for you.  In fact, if you're constantly rude to me you may find that I will refuse your commissions OR charge you extra for the hassle!  It's just not worth it!
 Abandoned commission projects (where the user commissions, pays the deposit, and then vanishes without final payment or receipt of files) belong to ThePointedHat/PointyHat and may be altered for resale!
 I reserve the right to change or add to these rules as I see fit.
