Contest Details

The goal of this contest write a short poem that will act as a slogan for PoetryPlease. It must make reference to the timelessness of the written word, but is not required use the rose or winter imagery. Please use our new Winter Rose CSS by trashydragon for inspiration.

Your poem should be no longer than three lines. It can be a haiku or open, or any other format that you wish, as long as it is no longer than three lines. As this is going to be posted on PP's front page for possibly years to come, we are looking for serious entries only, please.

To submit your entry, you must note the club with your poem in the body of your note and "Timeless" in the subject line. You may post your poem as a deviation after the competition is over if you wish.

Deadline

Your entries are due by April 4, 2008. Any entry received after midnight (EST) of this date will not be eligible to win.

Prizes

There will be no monetary reward for this contest, but the chosen poem will be posted on PP's front page with the link to the author beside it. This is a chance for long-term and up front exposure and should be considered prize enough for the length of poem produced.
