(Announcement) Oddities, New Group, and Much More!

We are here to address some of the questions and concerns that have popped up from our journal and we wish to address them. We are very sorry if this caused any of you to panic or confusion! 

ALL of our Oddities/Cosplays will be given their rights back to the original owner. This means that all previous moderators that contributed in making Pocket-Island Oddities or Cosplays have the rights to the designs. What does that mean to any existing Oddities or Cosplays? Whether they are in clutches, reffed or not. Here is the rules on them.

Oddity Rules

• IF you are transferring any Pocket Oddity, They will be referred to as "Legacy Oddities" in the new group. The selected Oddities are here: {link}
  
• If they are not on the list, they are required a redesign as we do not have the rights to use those designs anymore. 
  
• Legacy Oddities CANNOT breed other Legacies. They can breed like normal though, treated as a 4 trait. They just cannot breed Oddity offspring. 
  
• This ONLY applies to Pocket's new group and partially Frontier. In which you can read more here: {link} 
  
• If you move ANY of our oddities outside of these two groups, you are REQUIRED to redesign them COMPLETELY. Please remember that we are giving these designs back to the original owners. Only a few old and current moderators have allowed us to use them. 

Cosplay Rules

• If you are transferring any Cosplays, a select few will be referred to as "Legacy Cosplays" in the new group. The selected Cosplay's are here: {link}
  
• Legacy Cosplays CANNOT breed other Legacies. They can breed like normal, only using the traits they also have available. They just cannot breed Cosplay Offspring.
• If you move ANY of our Cosplays outside of these two groups, you are REQUIRED to redesign them COMPLETELY. Please remember that we are giving these designs back to the original owners. Only a few old and current moderators have allowed us to use them. 
• The only Cosplays out of this rule is Nintendo's official cosplay Pokemon. If a group you are moving them to, asks you to redesign them/take the cosplay off, then please to respect that!

Pocket 2.0 or "Pocketverse" will be in the making once Delivery and Hoenn Transport is Closed. If you are interested in the group and wanting to join, just do the following:

• Watch the group for updates and announcements
• When opening starts, send a join request with your Pocket-Island Inventory. This will guarantee you entry to the new group without any screening needed to be done. 
• PLEASE join if you are truly interested in partaking in the group! This is a fresh start and we really want people joining wanting to come along for the ride! 
• If you watched Pocket-Island and never got to be a member, don't worry! We will happily accept new members who are interested BUT you will go through our usual "How to Join" application process. 

Pocketverse is a continuation to the plot introduced in May 2018. Pocket Island's World becoming a "world between worlds" a link to explore more than just our own planet. The group's overall story plot is to explore different worlds and dimensions! I can't give away too much but here is a list of all the things we got planned for you!

• Worldly Exploration (Unlocked through Events!)
• Concrete idea of what Pocket's "World" is. (Maps, cities, etc will be maddeeee!!)
• Battles will be here to stay! No more breaking down! 
• Say good-bye to the docs and hello to a website! 
• All our old features, such as Town Square and Pelago will still be available! 

We need your opinions! We would like to know how you feel about Pinkans and Toys. It is a current topic brought up by the mod team to possibly remove them as "Traits" and turn them into "Oddity Traits" in the new group. 

Our reason to change a long standing trait into an Oddity? 
Pinkans and Toys do not have the same appeal that Shadows and Cosplays do. Both Shadows and Cosplays have perks in either Battles or Contests already. Having two traits dedicated to Battles and/or Contests each seems a bit silly to us. They also act similarly to our Oddity Traits, such as Missing.no or Ink Oddities. They have a strict theme, colors, and/or typing. We thought we could add more flair and freedom to them as an oddity!

But we would also want to hear your opinions! We understand these two traits may have some significance to you all. So we are all ears to suggestions to make more workable as a special trait Pokemon. 


What of Poke, items, Pelago beans, etc?
We are keeping em all! Which means none of that is changing. You don't have to worry about any sort of conversion when coming to the new group. 

Will I be able to bring Clutch rolls or already drawn clutches in the new group?
Yes! You will be able to do so. All Pocket-related activity will still be the same!

If I am leaving the group, will my inventory be deleted? 
No, we never ever delete member inventories. We keep them just in case for you and for us. This is to help people leaving have a way to prove they owned the Pokemon if ever needed that. 
Your inventory will not be added to the new site, however. We will keep everyone's inventories for archive purposes. 

What if I can't deliver Pokemon or transfer Pokemon out during the time Delivery and Transport is open?

• There are a few options! If you are staying in Pocket, you can just deliver when the group is functioning again.
  
• If you are leaving and delivering to members that are staying, they will need to use the "Transport Service" in the new group to get those Pokemon in! 
  
• If you are leaving for good and just wanted to transfer Pokemon out, the inventory will be available still and you can use it as reference as stated in the above answer!
