I have less than no patience for people who see nothing wrong with making the hospital gurney a sacrificial altar to Mammon. And the so-called "right-to-life" hypocrites who oppose abortion but won't support genuinely pro-life policies like single-payer drive me up the wall!

The Damned Tories are trying to the same here. The 'Labour Party', supposedly the 'Party of and for the People' don't have the balls (no pun here) to resist. The National Health Service (free health care for ALL) is one of the few things Britain could have been proud of.

I'm still wondering if Obamacare really is a step in the right direction. It has the fingerprints of the Big Insurance and Big Phara lobby alllll over it. And Obama is known most of the time to be like a Republican and a loyal servant of the 1%. Pardon me if I sound a little cynical.

It insures the uninsured, prevents denial of coverage to people with pre-existing conditions, and expands Medicaid coverage for the poorest. Those are three positive steps in the right direction.

I'm the first person to admit that Universal Health Care in Canada is not perfect but it's better than having to pay for every operation and doctor visit.

I would love to have pharmacare in Canada which is government paid medicine. I am lucky enough to have medical insurance but without it, Medicine in expensive.

Not to mention they allow US Postal Service employees to smoke while they deliver mail, regardless of the consequences of their third hand smoke on people with health conditions and don't offer to pay a penny for the thousands of dollars you incur in expenses for medicine and medical care from just *1* visit to the ER.
