In attached ZIP file you will find model of mirror / disco ball, in two formats:
.blend - Blender scene (v2.66a)
.obj + .mtl - Exported to OBJ format
Macro file for Octane (.ocm) is also included
Diameter of ball is 20 units (20 centimeters)
Ball is covered with 1147 small mirrors each of 10x10mm
Materials for reflective surface and glass base are separated
Total number of polygons is about 43k
Mounting parts and light source is not included
You are free to use or modify this model as you see fit for use in your own renders, and it's free to use for both commercial and non-commercial renders. You may not redistribute or resell this object, or any derivative of this object, by itself or as part of another package.

Octane 2.06 may hangs (during scene compiling) if this .obj mesh is added to scene, but 1.55 and 2.14 (RC) versions works well. Update 2015-12-12

--Now the bad news
Using this ball with mesh light in Octane Render (right image) is unobvious... we need some sort of light source with parallel rays to get small and crisp patches of reflected light.
Any suggestions are welcome...
