Journal Entry: Thu Feb 23, 2017, 2:00 PM

Almost another 1,000 pageviews have passed since the last kiriban winner and it's almost that time again for another winner. Whoever can catch the 21,000th pageview and send a screenshot in a note to me wins a drawing of a character of their choice. Currently we are only 48 pageviews away so keep your eyes peeled. If no one is successful in catching the kiriban I will take the closest one with in 5 after, but not before.

The winner of the kiriban was :iconbluelightningmoon: and they have been notified they can have a character of their choice drawn by me.

Copic Coloring

Journal Entry: Thu Sep 15, 2016, 5:36 PM

I wish I had bought some of these markers a long time ago. I have been practicing with them the last couple of weeks and they are amazing to use. I have even been incorporating the technique into my images in Photoshop. I am going to try and get into better light and surroundings when getting a picture of the work I am doing. It is depressing that scanners cannot grab the colors of the pictures I have been doing, but I know there has got to be a way since others can do it. If anyone knows a way to scan colored pictures so I can post them without having them washed out I am all ears. The dingy cell phone pics are not what I want to use but it is all I have currently. Appreciate any suggestions.

Journal Entry: Thu May 12, 2016, 3:24 PM

I'd like to draw pictures of other people's characters for points to earn enough for extending my membership. Just send me a note asking me what you would like me to draw and I will respond back to you.  I am not setting a price, but hope people will be fair when donating points for the work.

here are some I have done for others and working on more right now...

Commisions for points

Journal Entry: Tue Sep 22, 2015, 3:24 PM

I've been thinking to try and open some time for doing commissions to earn points towards renewing my membership early next year. I would like to hear if anyone would be willing to have me draw them a piece of art to know if it will be worth the time setting something like this up. Comment below with what you all think.

Drakensang Online

Journal Entry: Sun Jul 20, 2014, 6:52 AM

I was turned onto the MMo Drakensang and for a browser based game it is quite well done. I have played Diablo through all 3 imaginings and this is as close to having another Diablo style game to get into. There are some things I am not fond of, but the gameplay and re-playability outweigh the little annoyances such as cost of getting things in the game like weapons and armor. I know this is to get you to purchase money and in game items to help with the cost of playing for free so I can understand this with a company. The one other issue is there are a lot of players who do not speak english, but you will find plenty still that do and can help in the end for quests. The graphics are well done and really shine in battles when things get hectic and it is hard to believe it is all loaded and run within the browser still and it will remind you to make sure that you have the latest java edition for best performance. There is the option to download a client so you don't need to play in browser but not sure how fairs to the quickness of getting in by just logging through the browser, If you like Diablo style dungeon crawlers and want an addictive game with lots of replay value then this is one to try.

Trapped in a Videogame!

Journal Entry: Fri Jun 13, 2014, 4:04 PM

I just recently watched the whole series of SAO and Log Horizon. Both were great to watch and I have to say I enjoyed SAO more. I watched Log Horizon first, and it blew me away how well it was done and it makes me wish they would make a sequel to continue this one, but in the end I was not dissatisfied with how they finished it. I then came across SAO and saw it was similar to Log Horizon in that people were trapped in a game and yet the premise of how they were trapped helped put you in a position to wonder how many were going to get out or how long they would be in there. This element of dire consequences for losing or having someone in the real world unhooking you from the game adds an element that other anime in the genre have lacked. Log Horizon had the memory loss with dying, but it's not really as much of a worry and did not really change the way I felt about the character's plight of being trapped.

Now we are getting SAO2 soon and I can hardly wait to see how they can improve on this already great series. Is anyone else waiting for this to come out or can you recommend another series that might be a good watch? I have started watching Robotics Notes and Hitsugi no Chaika - (Chaika - The Coffin Princess), but I am open to suggestions of others.

Walking Dead Season 4 trailer

Journal Entry: Tue Aug 6, 2013, 3:14 PM

I finally got to see the trailer for the Walking Dead season four and it's going to be painful to wait till that one comes out. At least I have Under the Dome and Primeval to get me by till then, and maybe I might have to check out Game of Thrones too since I hear it is good too. Any shows I should know about that would be worth checking out? Leave a comment.
