Snow drifted past gently as three felvargs trotted through the valley. On either side they were flanked by mountains, now covered in a generous coating of white as winter reached its peak. Across the mountains, fir and pine trees sprouted up just as frosted as anything else. Though the wind blew, it wasn’t uncomfortable, and the three fels had thick coats to stave off any chill. The valley was silent, but not frightening, a welcome midday sun hovering between the peaks. Hatari, as usual, was first to speak.
“Are we there yet?” The youngest of the three, she had an impatient streak, and an eye for sparkling items. She picked up her pace to keep time with Frayleeir, who huffed gently. “Fray, where are we even going? You said we’d find something, but we’ve been walking for hours.” Haze silently rolled her eyes from the back of the trio. “We’ve been walking for an hour, maybe.” Frayleeir chuckled and looked over her shoulder to Haze, who maintained her less-than-sunny disposition. “She’s

Aloknir huffed as he loaded the last of six large crates onto the ferry he would be taking to Sandfell. Each was marked “Lock, Stock & Barrel”, and though his curiosity was screaming at him to take just one peek, he resisted the urge. Flitja had been very specific with her instructions: get the crates to Sandfell before sundown, and under no circumstances should a single one be opened. The dusty pink felvarg sat back for a moment, resting, and looked up at the sky. It was still morning, though the usual fog had lifted by now. The docks creaked beneath his paws, swaying gently in the water beneath. The lake was calm today. Of course, it was nearly always still with the exception of a few storms. Aloknir felt a light breeze across his nose. Southbound, he thought to himself. It wouldn’t be a problem though. It wasn’t a strong wind, so it wouldn’t affect the ferry ride too much. He looked back at the small boat, paddle wheel poised to start moving. Admittedly, the idea of having to unload

Relic and Aloknir walked in the comfortable quiet only created by strong companionship as their paws kicked up small bits of dirt on the road leading out of Skalaness. The air was crisp and cool, autumn well on its way now. Bright leaves littered the road, blown from the trees surrounding the fields. The smells of apple pies and other baked goods wafted from the town and made both fels’ stomachs rumble a bit. Still, they had things to do. Snack time could wait until later.
The pair had decided, as usual, to take a stroll through the nearby woods. It was their favorite destination, mostly because they always seemed to find something to bring back. Shiny rocks, an oddly shaped branch… You name it, they could probably find it somewhere in the densely packed forest. Of course, the other reason was that they simply couldn’t find much to do in the small town. They weren’t farmers, bakers, or crafters. They were wanderers, content to make their money through the sale of items found on their

Freyleeir, Haze, and Hatari set out early in the morning, eager to explore the rolling hills of Ulfrheim as they stretched under a vast autumn sky. A cool breeze whipped through the air, carrying with it the scent of crisp leaves and fresh earth. Freyleeir, the leader of the small group, bounded ahead with her typical enthusiasm, her cream-colored fur ruffling in the wind as she trotted up the incline of the first hill.
“Come on, you two!” she called, glancing back with a mischievous gleam in her eye. “If we move fast, we might even make it to the overlook by midday!”
Behind her, Haze and Hatari followed at their own pace, each immersed in their own world. Haze, the serious one of the group, scanned the ground intently, her sharp eyes trained on every bush and cluster of plants they passed. Though not one for chatter or humor, she was a natural at her role as a forager, constantly on the lookout for herbs and roots that could be useful for their pack. Her dark auburn fur was sleek
