heys~

i like the more intense shade of blue used here, as well as the silhouettes of the children and the tree ^^ this piece of work caught my eye instantly and i must say that it's your best work :) however i think that the crowned parrot could have been done better, like if you used a silhouette for it like the tree and children in the image :) to blend in more with the rest of the picture. as it appears, the children are gazing at the star balloon and the parrot is not really the focus of the piece (if it is,then please correct me ^^). i think the parrot has alot of potential to be elaborated on as a supporting element of the title (which is pretty good as it already opens up alot of possibilities for the content of the image) rather than remaining just a crude shape which stands out a little awkwardly ^^ the bottom portion of the image is kinda of strange, though.. was it to convey a more dreamlike atmosphere? if so, i think that would be better achieved by giving the underside of the cliff a bit more texture, rather than a blunt edge :) also, the circles are rather distracting from the centre focus of the work, so maybe they could be slightly more scattered and fainter?

all in all although i think it could be improved, the things above are only suggestions and i really dont mean to offend you by them at all :) generally i still think this piece is a great leap from the other work in your gallery and is much more sophisticated by far, so keep up the great improvements!

p.s. thanks for your patience.. this is rather longwinded i know ^^; vector scenes just get me going somehow :P

I'm not acquainted with celcojunior. I'll look that one up. Did that. I can see one point of inspiration in celsojuniors [Be Free]

I like your work too though, a nice blend of real and surreal.

What's the significance of the crowned parrot?
