In The Time Before Time

Did you miss me?! *chugs water, spouts of it flow out of my torso cartoonily" wow I guess so! Every single one of us have been poking me with stick , sharp ones seeing how much I leaked there. Ah but silliness aside, I am indeed so sorry if I made any of you worry. Trust me my body is in the best shape it's been since I turned thirteen (that was when I started to have my imbalance I suspect as it was about the time I started getting fat.) I'm not under any viral besides the strain of Chickenpox they injected in me twenty or so years ago.

Nah na, I am happy to say that it has been a mental slip cause by a phobia making me be scarce lately. Why is a Mental slip on you may ask, well my way of looking at the world and knowing I got friends who care and family that need me keeps me off the worst slope mental health issues can put you on. As the song says "I can take it leave it if I please* (Look up M*A*S*H the sound track, not saying the subject here because I don't want to hurt those who have been affected by it.) and quite frankly I could never take it, I will always leave it.

But yes I have been in a major slump since last I posted, DA is changing (for better or worse you got me on that.) and as I start Spring cleaning of my room and workshop I thought I'd show something cool I am making..... Well remaking that is, it took me ages to get a truly straight cut on the wood pieces for the blank and as you may see by the saw marks at the back I am taking my time and cutting slowly to get rid of excess material. But what you are looking at is to be the Master for my Movie style Matoran head.

If you remember the original you may see the diagram I am using to carve out the shapes is more refined and much much closer to the Movie style heads from the CG. Was a pain in the neck to get the perfect angles from clips in MoL, and Metru Nui but I am happy with it I just hope it comes out as I want. Once again the forward facing half was extrapolated based off what little we see of Mask less Matoran and the actual Lego pieces of a head, because like Wilson's Chin from Home Improvement every shot was blocked because the masks are the true faces of the Matoran but Jaller helped me notice some interesting bits of Matoran facial anatomy, such as there being on some Matoran a small hydraulic cylinder that connects to the lower Jaw. Takua does not have this I would guess because of his mouth plate being larger and those wearing Nobel Masks do not see to have them either because their mouth is a light glow behind the grill of the mouth piece (Like Turaga Vakama how we see lip synch flow when he speaks, now I think of it kinda reminds me of the row of LEDs on Johnny Five's mouth that light up in synch with his speech. 🤔)

Don't expect a super long delay between now and the next update, once I get reorganized I am gonna get in with some back log, also once again I have a Etsy store Dash Terrier Props and More and I will be adding new stuff soon. So there is still time to Own the Monster of the Well in Zelda. As I am on tablet at the moment I will have to add a link tomorrow as well as a link to my Patreon for which every little bit helps.
