An American Tail: Fievel's New York Tails Special
"A History Tail"
SCENE 1:
The episode opens with an exterior shot of the Astor Library, in mid-morning. We then slowly zoom down in and focus on Fievel, sister Tanya, and their friends Tony and Bridget all climbing the doorstep just before the entrance. At the top, they stop and look left and right, finding that no one else is about, then approach the door. The door is locked, and a sign reading “Closed Sundays” is hung in the window. Fievel and Tanya look sad and start to turn back, before Tony suddenly taps them and points to a small gap between two bricks at the bottom-section of the front wall. The siblings smile, the quartet runs to the hole and tip-toes through it one by one.
Cut to inside, the wide airy main hall with light shining through the windows and sunroof. The surrounding rooms are shadowed by the large bookshelves. Pan down to Fievel, standing in the middle of the main room floor, he turns in a circle, eyeing everything around him. Tanya walks into frame and steps
