The Rune/FUThARK says: zithk nrthr (Or as it should be backwards: rthrn kthiz)

This is a fantastic piece! Do you have it without the inscription too by any chance?

I use the Younger Futhark (Scandinavian Futhark) of the scandinavian Norsemen (Vikings). It has been used between the 9th and the 11th century. These are the Runes of Old Norse. The Elder Futhark is Proto-Norse and was used before the Viking age (8th century). Most of the runestone inscriptions contain Younger Futhark Runes.

The Runes on the bottom are from the Fyrby Runestone (Sö 56) Södermanland, Sweden.
Runes: ᛁᛅᚴ᛫ᚢᛅᛁᛏ᛬ᚼᛅᛋᛏᛅᛁᚾ᛬ᚦᛅ᛬ᚼᚢᛚᛘᛋᛏᛅᛁᚾ᛬ᛒᚱᚢᚦᚱ᛫ᛘᛂᚾᚱ᛬ᚱᚢᚾᛅᛋᛏᛅ᛬ᛅ᛬ᛘᛁᚦᚴᛅᚱᚦᛁ᛬ᛋᛂᛏᚢ᛬ᛋᛏᛅᛁᚾ᛬ᛅᚢᚴ᛬ᛋᛏᛅᚠᛅ᛬ᛘᛅᚱᚵᛅᛂᚠᛐᛁᛦ᛫ᚠᚱᛅᚤᛋᛏᛅᛁᚾ᛬ᚠᛅᚦᚢᚱ᛫ᛋᛁᚾ
Old Norse: Ek veit Hástein þá Holmstein brœðr menn rýnasta á Miðgarði, settu stein ok stafa marga eptir Freystein, fôður sinn.
English: I know Hásteinn Holmsteinns brother, the most rune-skilled men in Middle Earth, placed a stone and many letters in memory of Freysteinn, their father.

They seem to be using an alternative to Elder Futhark, at first I thought the same thing. The runes match up with the Anglicized name provided, though. :aww: Excellent work, by the way. Your work is great!

yeah, i was confused about that too

Ah, I was only a bit disappointed that I couldn't read them. ^.^

I never did much research on the Younger, mostly the Elder. Very fascinating, I may have to now! :aww: You're very welcome. :)

Gorgeous work ... I know this may be a weird request but do you have one without the runes and wording in the middle? I know you probably spent a lot of time making it but as a background for my comp I like the center space clean.

I can send it to you the way you want it. Please give me your e-mail address, the screen resolution you need, and let me know whether you want me to remove the Mjolnir (hammer) as well.

Thank you for doing this for me, many artists I know wouldn't. It is greatly appreciated. :)
