Hullo, I'm just getting started with oils, it was hard at first but its getting more and more enjoyable. Hopefully I'll soon be able to submit an oil painting into the group I just joined, Painters. It has been hard getting feedback on paintings and to find others to talk to about art in general here on dA. Maybe this group can make dA more than an online hard-drive for me... I just bought a field-easel, which I'm determined to use during my visit to Gran Canaria. I'll be there for a week with my family and relatives, celebrating my grandparents golden wedding (50 years!). See ya.

The last few months have surely changed my life. Studying art is what I want to do, so right now I'm quite happy. We spent the last week at school working on a project where we all chose one of three artist you were given. I choose Giorgio Morandi, a well known still life painter of the 20th century. For one week I read about him and his art, while painting the same bottles and cans over and over again, just like he did for 40(!) years. At the end of the week I had learnt a lot, and I had also had a lot of fun. I'm uploading the few acrylics I made, and also some of the 20-30 watercolours, and a few drawings - all still life motives. Marry

Been to copenhagen with my art class, was really nice. Visited Luisiana, Glyptoteket and Arken. It was a nice mix of contemporary and classic art, both european and asian. Going to upload more of the photos i take of my studies from school. Beside this im looking forward to using the videocamera i've borrowed from school. Im trying to make s short film of some sort. Maybe i can upload that too later, would be nice. See you
