Rainbow Dash standing plush by PlanetPlush Rainbow Dash standing plush by PlanetPlush
Now 20% cooler!

Commissioned plush. Made from minky with embroidered eyes and cutie mark. Feet and tail are weighted with poly pellets to keep her balanced. Mouth is made from microfiber suede.

This will be the last Dash I make for a while. All I see are rainbows. @-@

Wow, you are master, if she stands so, if toy's heads are rotable and wings turnable. Respect. Thank you for such creative work!
Pity, that commissions are closed(

Just like Noleetida, I am very curious how you can even make her stand

She has poly pellets in her feet and tail to keep her balanced. They act as counter weights.

Well, I understand the counter weight part...
I just don't understand, even with counter weights, she can keep balanced on such a small contact surface (just the bottom of her two legs). It's sort of like trying to balance a table on two legs. Unless the contact surface of those legs is huge, I'd say it's almost impossible.
...Yet, there she stands...

I just made a standing plush pattern. Once I sewed her together I put poly pellets in her feet and tail to keep her balanced.

Not too much actually. I just filled the bottom of a drinking cup with the pellets and poured them in. You can also try putting foam into the foot bottoms. That's what I do when I make Transformers.

It's awesome to see a new kind of pose for MLP plushies! Those eyes in particular are amazing *~* Did you use a machine to stitch them?

It gives such a professional effect :wow: And minky is absolute heaven on the finished product. If you don't mind my asking, what kind of embroidery machine do you use? I've been shopping around for one and could use some advice :D

I use a Brother SE 400. It's a great machine and perfect if you're new to embroidery. Very easy to use. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Actually one more question ^^; Does it come with software so you can design the eyes/cutie mark yourself on the computer?

Good question! I should have thought to answer it before. Lol. The sewing machine does not come with the software to design your own embroidery. It only has the pre programmed designs. If you want to design your own things then you'll have to buy the software separately.

I use PE Design. It cost me right around $250. You might be able to find some other programs cheaper but I'm not familiar with many.
