It was just like any other day.
Tending to the gardens was the boy's job, and he loved every moment of it.
Being surrounded by the fragrant roses, alone and in the sun....
What could possibly beat that feeling, when you were so shy?

But to his surprise, a bright green rodent pops out of the bushes he was trimming!
It ran about, circling his feet, before beginning to dart away.
The kitten only stared on in shock, blinking his bright aqua eyes.
How odd, that creature had been!

He intended to return to his work, but in moments the rodent was returning,
stealing one of the precious blossoms in his basket.
The boy had no choice, but to chase the creature down--those don't belong to you!

What a mess of petals, they two had made.
