Battle the poison fog
Lumbering through the quiet dirty streets of the village out in the Jallera countryside, Mordi could feel something unsettling in the air. Her hairs stood on end as she peered around the town. He wasn’t alone though was candles started to be lit as the humans woke up to investigate the source of the distress.

Lumbering through the quiet dirty streets of the village out in the Jallera countryside, Mordi could feel something unsettling in the air. Her hairs stood on end as she peered around the town. [Why did it have to be tonight of all nights?] She asked out loud before the first signs of trouble began to drifted in.

The smog was a deep purple and floated in the breeze. Mordi watch through lazy eyes as the clouds began to collide with the homes. [That’s no myst storm,] she muttered as the wooden structures began to slowly melt.

Letting out a blast of psychic energy, the cloud backed off and releasing the houses from their fate. Taking several steps forward, she was surprise to see the cloud return and thicker in density. Blasting it again resulted in a similar result, making the cloud almost a solid wall of gas.

[This is a lot worst!] she exclaimed casting out her powers more in an net this time. She pushed back at the clouds before it reach the town. The going was somewhat easy as it provided little resistance. But her psychic senses started to pick up a presence in the smoke. Before she could react, it attacked. Slamming into her belly, the unknown creature unleashed another plume of smog from its mouth before fading into the cloud.

Recovering from the attack, she started to blast randomly into the fog, momentarily clearing pockets of it before the gas filled it up. Another tackle from behind her caused her to loosen her grip on the purple cloud.

Anger fuming to the surface of her mind, she channeled all her psychic energy into launching the fog skyward. The sudden clearing of the fog bank revealed a swarm of koffings stunned at display of power. Not taking a moment to let them recover, she blasted 3 of them in a single attack.

Coming to their senses, several of the poison gas pokemon fled from the village. Others though began to counter attack with sludge and gas. Summoning a flurry of cards around her, Mordi unleashed her trump card attack, striking as many as she could. Some connected with their targets and fainted almost on the spot. Those that dodged continued their assault.

Taking a sludge bomb attack to the face, Mordi lost her concentration of the poison cloud above her as she coughed. With it slowly falling down and toward the village again, Mordi knew the clock was on.

Casting out her powers, she attacked the remaining koffings, pinning them down to the ground long enough for her follow up with her Trump Card attack. As the smoked clear, most of the koffings laid fainted on the ground. Only one remained to stare her down. The koffing rushed forward, gas billowing from it’s exhaust ports. Meeting the challenge head on, she charged up one last psychic attack.

The landed, blowing back the koffing who responded with a sludge attack that coated the chimera’s coat. Snorting in anger, she charged the floated ball of gas. Slamming hard hard she followed up with another trump card attack. The combo blew the koffing far from sight.

Barely taking a moment to breath she look back at the cloud of purple gas as it descended on the village. Roof shingles began to melt to night under the weight of the concentrated cloud.

Casting another psychic net under the cloud she tried to lift it up off the town. But from the strain of the battle, she could barely stop it from falling. Sweeting pouring off her brow, she gave the mass a mental push. The fog bank shifted a little, creeping toward the side, clear of any buildings. But it was not enough, sinking into the psychic net and closer to the houses.

Then there was a shift in the wind. It started out slight but soon the wind was pushing the mass to the town’s west, away from the building and toward open grassland. Letting out a exclamation of joy, Mordi slowly loosen the net from the top down toward the bottom, strengthening the bottom of the net as she went. The wind quickly picked up the smog and carried it off. As the last of it cleared Mordi could feel the strength of her body fade and she promptly passed out on the road, a please smile on her face.

The sound of skittering on stone brought Wisp attention to the forefront, waking her in the process. Looking around, the chimera saw nothing. No servants, no guards, no one outside of her master, the prince, and Valor who were both sleeping. The skittering noise echoed around the room again, sending a chill down her spectoral body. Not believing herself, she woke Valor with a gentle shake of the larger pokemon’s shoulder.

With a yawn, Valor looked around the room before looking down on the young Wisp. Before she could ask what was going on, the smaller chimera brought a paw up to valor’s mouth, silencing her. It was there that she too heard the skittering. Unnerved both pokemon started looking around trying to find the source.

It was when Wisp started to look around the cabinets when she saw that a gold cup sliding across the stone wall. Confusion struck the chimera hard as she just pointed at it. Noticing the dumbstruck Wisp, Valor followed her paw toward the sideways cup. Curiosity took over the large chimera as she approached the cup and pulled it off the wall. Underneath the cup was Joltik, small and cute as ever. The pokemon itself continued moving along the wall, not noticing that its burden was removed.

Both chimeras followed the joltik across the wall toward the door before the joltik finally notice the missing cup. Looking up, it saw the two pokemon looking down at it. In a panic, it fired off a thundershock attack, striking Valor.

While unfazed from the attack, the attack caused more damage than expected. Aside from waking the prince, the whole room exploded in a swarm of joltiks. The dressers, cabinets, and even from under the bed, the joltiks came crawling out, each one in a panic.

“What’s going on!” Alphonse shouted as the swarm started climbing out of all the exits of the room. Grabbed in their tiny hands where clothes, treasure, and even some of the pokemon’ toys that were stored away from years ago. “Guards! We’ve been invaded by some pokemon! Seize them!” Taking his blanket, he tossed it over a pocket of the joltiks before pulling it up into a makeshift bag.

“Valor, Wisp, Take care of the one’s heading out the windows!” the prince commanded. With a nod, the two of them flew out the room, Wisp through the wall while Valor took flight from the balcony. From the outside it look like a yellow tide was pouring from the windows.

Wisp took the initiative, inhaling before blowing out her powder snow spray. The clumps of snow was able to freeze several patches of the joltik swarm. They lost their grip and fell to the ground like chucks of ice with their stolen goods in tow. The surviving ones scattered, moving out of the wide ranging snow blast.

That was where Valor swooped in, landing on the wall, and striking at the swarm with tooth and claw. Batting away pockets of the pokemon, sending them flying off into the dark night and toward the courtyard below. Leaping off the wall, she grabbed the falling loot and returned it to Alphonse’s room before returning to the bug cleaning.

Upon clearing the last pokemon from the castle wall, both Wisp and Valor touched down in the courtyard below among the frozen and bruised joltiks. Alphonse waited for them, hands free from his earlier catch. Behind him was Wick and the castle guards, some half dress, running around, carefully grabbing the tiny pokemon as they fled.

Lifting several wooden buckets, Alphonse congratulated his pokemon. “Great work you two. Now let’s clean up this mess before sunrise.” Wisp enthusiastically flew around the courtyard, picking up the injured joltiks before returning to her master and dumping them in one of the buckets. Valor on the other hand, carried a bucket of her own and picked them off the ground and stashing them away in it. Upon filling a bucket, servants came by to disposed of the contends to the location better for holding the swarm.

“Remind me to treat you guys in the morning,” Alphonse said passing off one of the bucket. Both Valor and Wisp cheered in response.

A scream through the moonlit streets alerted Alkes to the trouble that was foot. Climbing out of the water and onto the dock, he looked around, trying to find the source of the panic. He wasn’t alone though was candles started to be lit as the humans woke up to investigate the source of the distress.

Another scream echoed from another corner of the city. With a scowl, he started running off towards the source. Telling the difference between a woman’s and man’s voice, he deduced that there must be multiple sources of disturbances. How many though he didn’t know.

A child’s cry caused him to halt and look up. Crawling out of a window was clearing a pokemon. It’s dark body made it hard for him to figure out what kind of pokemon but he was able to tell the difference between it and the brightly colored bundle of another pokmeon that it had. Quickly inhaling, he blew out a spray of snow. It splashed on the poke-napper, taking its attention away from the window it climbed out of and down on the chimera.

The figure dropped down to the ground shortly afterwards, flashing a set of claws with its free arm. Tucked underneath the other one was clearly a shiny espurr, wiggling in a desperate hope it could break free. With a sneer, the sneasel bolted down the street only to be stopped as Alkes fired off a water gun in its path.

Turning on its heel, the napper started running at the chimera instead. Accepting the challenge Alkes charged forward, hoping to use his larger bulk to easily knock the sneasel down. Instead though, the agile pokemon jumped up and bounced off the chimera’s head. Whipping his head around, the sneasl was already running away with espurr still in arm.

Chasing after him, Alkes cried out to the onlookers that began to exit their homes. Many instandly retreated out of the way, letting the large pokemon to barrel down the cobblestone road. Some looked around, spotting the sneasel and tried to stop it. The poke-napper easky dodged around the slower human, but it was evident that it would not be able to escape its pursuer by staying on the ground by dodging the bystanders. Running to the side of the nearest building, it started to climb up the brick walls.

Alkes saw this and began to fire water guns, hitting the wall around the napper instead of the pokemon itself. While the wet stone and constant attacks would have made it hard to climb, the sharp claw of the sneasel helped it hold fast under the torrential assault. The barrage of attacks allowed Alkes to close the gap between the two of them.

Once he was roughly underneath, Alkes shouted up, [Release the espurr! And give yourself up!] He followed up with another water gun just above the thief. The napper, sneered again at the larger pokemon, sticking out its tongue in response.

Meanwhile the espurr, crying all throughout its experience, started using its tiny arms to beat on the sneasel’s arm. The thieving pokemon paid no heed, making its captive cry even more. Finally fed up with the exchange, the espurr opened its ears, unleashing it’s psychic powers. The following wave of power caused the wall the sneasel was holding on to to crumble, dragging both of them down to the ground in a hail of masonry stone.

The humans, in a panic, fled from the raining destruction but Alkes held his ground. Eyes tracking the falling two pokemon, he charged through the falling stone. Brick and mortar bounced off his flesh and shell alike, scaring the former. Reaching out with his mouth, he grabbed the poke-napper by its free arm. With both pokemon, he ran them out of the range of the crumbling building before dropping the sneasel onto the ground and placing a foot on it back.

[Releash the espurr now,] he told the poke-napper, applying pressure on to its backside. With a disgusted moan, the sneasel released its captive. The young pokemon took a bit before it realized it was free before it ran around its savior and hid behind his leg.

A call out from nearby brought Alkes’s attention toward a young elf woman. Knowing who it was, Alkes leaned down to the sneasel and said, [We will figure out what your goal was.] The sneasel rolled its eyes in response.

What can I say about my self. Well, I can say that I like pokemon even if they just keep going and going and going... I a big fan of big name Rpg games from TOS to Final Fantasy. I can draw to save my life, but I happen to try to any way. XD. On the plus side I am good with some 3D work like 1700's sailing vessels. I am trying to write a story but I feel like it's falling on its head. But yeah that's what my work is coming to but I don't mind. It's fun and I always need to keep busy.
