So the last time I actually wrote anything at all was apparently about a year ago which is truly a long time. I told you guys back then that I would be doing Gameart in a few months at the HKU, but that has changed in the meantime. I switched to Interaction Design due to my wish to see things in a broader perspective. Interaction Design is simply the enterity of interaction between humans and machines, varying from iPhones to entire interactive installation, which therefore also means games and sometimes even film and music. Since the moment I was able to hold a controller in my hands, I have been playing videogames. I got my Super NES at 2 and then bought pretty much anything after that. Playstation 1, N64, even a SEGA Saturn, up to the Xbox 360 and PS3 that are standing proudly beneath my television at the moment.
My love for videogames has always gone hand in hand with my artistic skill, or if you want, love for the arts. From a very young age on, I was praised for my drawing skills and without sounding too presumptuous, I have always been one of the better artists in my class.
Last year, I decided that I should unite both of my passions, so I got myself int
