Hello DA People, it's been a while. I'm quite surprised I remembered my password!... Since my last visit I now have a lovely boy who takes up most of my time, so very little opportunity for creating. I feel the need for some DA inspiration, this place always did have a wonderful variety of artwork.
Hello DA People, how I have missed you!
I can't quite believe my last journal was over ten months ago, eek! It's been a busy year.
I'll recap quickly: Last October I embarked on a large commission for some friends who wanted me to paint their two daughters in a fantasy style. I began the painting during October half term and worked on it predominantly during school half terms and holidays, plus the occasional weekend.
2011 turned into 2012 and wedding planning became the priority. Whenever I could I carried on with the final 'E. Richards' masterpiece! This was the final result:

Creative Minds Group Exhibition
Back by popular demand, the Creative Minds Group Exhibition has returned to Kingston, with the addition of new artists. The artwork ranges from traditional ballet and portraiture paintings, to fashion illustration, fantasy and graffiti artwork. There are ten artists displaying their work. Alongside original artwork for sale, there are a range of prints, greetings cards, postcards and other gifts available. So if you find yourself in the Kingston Upon Thames area, the exhibition is open daily from 10am - 5pm and runs until Friday 28th October.
