I’ve gazed at this site for ages, striving to become good enough to get featured with the rest of the pros, and here I am today. What an honor. What an accomplishment. I still got tonnes to learn and much to improve upon, but this shows how far I’ve come in my quest in 3D visualisation. Right up there with the really talented pros. #awesome http://www.3dtotal.com/index_gallery_detailed2.php?id=5761#.Ur3o5HmTixx

I finally wrapped my latest 3D project up. I started Jim in the late summer of 2013 and it took about 3 months on and off from start to finish. I learned a lot of new stuff along the way and got better at other stuff too. I'm really proud of how far I've come with my 3D projects considering it's "just" a hobby and I've received no training other than online tutorials from places like Digital Tutors, ZBrush Workshops, Gnomon and Eat3D. Check him out here and spread the word about his awesomeness: http://pixelpirate.deviantart.com/art/Earthworm-Jim-417513341

There he is - in my gallery. One hell of a project, but it was fun, and the result is awesome! Now I didn't get to get featured on 3DTotal.com, but I'll keep trying with future projects. I suspect I'll get a no from 3DWorldMag as well, but I'm still waiting for an answer. Now to spread it around the internet - please help me do that by linking to him: http://pixelpirate.deviantart.com/art/Alfred-E-Neuman-270359711 On a side note - my website is live in a new and simpler version, that makes it easier for me to update: http://www.pixelpirate.dk Thanks! -Lasse-

Hi PixelPirate !

Why have you removed the Winamp Skins from your gallery ??  I collect fully skinned Classic skins, and Kapsulos is one of my favorites !  I love the design and the orange color ! Congrats !
I KNOW... I'm just a few years late !!
Its cool to see how your DT lessons turned out. I've just started them myself :)
Have fun - it's a lot of great knowledge. :)
Thanks for watching

Hi, my name is Gianluigi and i'm a Publisher, 3D Animator and Storyteller. My newborn publishing company, GL Interaction, is now working at the first issue of a new 3D digital/ Full interactive Magazine planned for

for the next weeks (possibility, foe example, to insert video gallery, photo gallery, links to website, 3D models in Augmented Reality, script html5 and so on). This magazine will be avaiable for apple and android devices. Within the next issues it would be great to insert some of  your amazing works and, if possible,  a link to a making of (but this is not necessary). That's it! if you're interested we need some full hd images of your works (with also images of production's stage: AO, Wireframe etc...), the label of copyright that we need to insert over the  pictures, and  some technical  information about the opera: name, software  used, information about special technics used, link to website and portfolio. Also, there's a possibility to use some materials for an animated cover.

Hoping in your reply, I offer you my most cordial greetings.

Dr. Gianluigi Lasco

Hey Gianluigi!

That sounds interesting, I would love to contribute some of my works and some in depth information about it. Much of it is made by following tutorials though, so I think we should steer around those pieces and just focus on a few of my own, like Earthworm Jim and Alfred E. Neuman.

Make a list of stuff you need from me and I'll see what I can do to collect all of it. Just PM me here from now on.

Cheers
Hey Lasse, thanks for the watch :)
