Jedi Training Remote Icons EpI

This is an icon I made out of the Blender 3D model of the Jedi Training Remote that I did previously with which I also made a wallpaper. It still doesn’t have the “dirty” textures so it will be an Episode I version like I did with the wallpaper until the textures are done.

It has full alpha transparency in the background with very smooth edges.

It has Windows, Mac and Png versions. The Windows and Mac versions include icons from 16 to 256 pixels in size. The Png set includes images up to 512 pixels in size so if you want to modify the Mac icons to include a 512 pixel size you can do it if you have a program that can add the 512 pixel size Png to the icns file. I can't do it cause my icons program can only do it to a maximum of 256 pixels.

You can modify it at least for your own personal use. I hope that you enjoy them.

No I didn't use any blueprints, I couldn't find them either. Seems that blueprints for the Jedi Remote are kinda scarce or hard to find. I had to model it from photos and had to do a lot of adjustments by eye which is a bit difficult because of the perspective distortion in the photos.

I used many photos of the original and the Master Replicas model to do it but I corrected a couple of things that were wrong in the Master Replicas version, a few details that they changed from the original.

Be careful cause you may find some photos of the original and these could have been taken recently and because the original has been moved around in some exhibitions some pegs from some parts have broken off and do not show any more, I corrected this in my model too.

thank you! ^^
well actually I'm working in an augmented reality app and I need to model it too to use it, but they just told me is not necesary to model all the details so I guess I'll model just the basic form ... anyway I'm using your pictures as reference too! ^^ I'll give credit if necesary =P

see you =P

Also notice that some parts change from the upper section which are different in the lower section. Notice carefully which ones they are and adjust accordingly.

I could send you a zip file with all the photos that I found on the web of the model. This may save you some search time. In addition if you think that my model looks accurate enough and you trust it enough I could send you some orthogonal renderings that could help you in your construction. Anyway I think that it could help you as reference and you could use the original photos as reference to do any of your own corrections if you find it pertinent.

If you are interested send me a private message with an e-mail address where I can send you these things. I am usually very careful with my PC security and I do security scans of different kinds regularly and I also check any zip file carefully before sending it.
