All the VAs I've had the pleasure and honor of making art for have been incredibly sweet to me, sending me lots of gifts and swag over the past year. But Saturday, when I opened my occasionally-hornet infested mailbox (Seriously, it's like the hard mode version of checking the mail,) I had the most incredible present in the history of pony waiting for me!
What you see here are three posters signed by the entire cast and crew of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic! The unbelievably wonderful Sam Vincent, my best friend forever and ever and ever and voice of Flim of the Flim Flam Brothers managed to get me every signature of just about every person on the My Little Pony team through a combination of persistence and- I suspect- no small amount of cornering people and shoving a sharpie into their hand. Threats and/or bribes may have also been involved!

Oh, and bees. But really, let's just focus on the non-stinging, awesome gift part of this story:

There are no words for how much this means to me. From the time I was knee-high to a pegasus, I have loved My Little Pony. I still have my original, G1 Firefly sitting on my desk, and I still remember opening her on my birthday. One of the first things I bought with my grown-up paycheck was hopping on ebay and replacing my long-lost Pony Dream Castle. I remember the exact moment when I watched my first episode of Friendship is Magic and fell in love with ponies all over again. To be a part of this world, this fandom, and to, in my small way, have a hand in creating it is more than I ever dreamed possible. To have the friendship of so many incredibly talented people who make me smile like a 5 year old on Saturday mornings...well, one could say it's magic. If one was prone to cliches. Which I'm not. Obviously.

In all seriousness, THANK YOU, to the actors, crew, artists, writers, musicians and staff who have rekindled my love of colorful cartoon horses. Thanks for thinking of me and taking the time to give me such a treasure.
While everyone is amazing, I have to say there was one signature that I have longed for as long as I've been a fan of G4 pony. When I saw this signature, I think I squeed the squee of a million lifetimes!
The Great and Powerful Kathleen Barr! AGHGHGHGHGHGH! I'm still freaking out!
Here's a closer look at all three posters-

The autographs are from- Andrea Libman, Ashleigh Ball, Tara Strong, Tabitha St. Germain, Cathy Weseluck, Nicole Oliver, Michelle Creber, Claire Corlett, Maddy Peters, Chantal Strand, Kathleen Barr, Brenda Crichlow, Maryke Hendrikse, Kelly Metzger, John De Lancie, Terry Klassen, Peter New, Trevor Devall, Brian Drummond, Matt Hill, Colin Murdoch, Lee Tockar, Andrew Francis, Michael Dangerfield, Richard Cox, Sam Vincent, Scott McNeil, Gary Chalk, Vincent Tong, Mark Oliver, Kazumi Evans, Shannon Chan-Kent, Rebecca Shoichet, James "Wootie" Wotten, Jayson Thiessen, Big Jim Miller, Sibsy, Daniel Ingram, and Steffan Andrews
Once again, Sam and everyone OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Time to frame some posters!
Howdy Pardners!
Well gosh! It's been a long time, DeviantArt. How have you been? Terrible? Well, me too! In fact, that's what brings me back here. You may not have heard, but Flintheart Glomgold bought Twitter and immediately attempted to mate with it. Things aren't going well there and, frankly, we are all expect the place to collapse in on itself like the Poltergeist house any moment now. So, I figured I maybe using DeviantArt a bit more in our rapid-onset Dystopian future. With that in mind, I wanted to let you all know that I still live (please hold applause) and still have access to this account...apparently! And if you're looking to find me on any other social media apps that are a fraction less likely to sell my art, likeness and pets to NFT algorithms, then here's my linktree: So there's that! Hope you're all doing great! Feel free to drop the deets on where else I can follow you in the comments. Goodnight and Glob bless!
Kath Soucie Autograph
Another tiny dream come true! I received a package from the amazing, incredible and legendary Kath Soucie, voice of Fifi, Morgana, Lola Bunny and so many other classic cartoon characters! She sent me a beautiful personal letter, a signed postcard and autographed two pieces of my Fifi art!
I'm at a loss for words! This is something I've dreamed of since I was knee high to a skunk!
Now it's just a matter of framing the art and hanging it in my studio and office!
Ko-Fi is a thing, so I made one!
"I'll give it a try!" I believe those were the final words of the guy who tried to share his beer with a leopard.
Wise words from a guy who did a thing. And so, I too, decided to do a thing. A Ko-Fi Thing. I set it up, added some art and if you'd like to toss a tip my way for the stuff I do or just because you like my sparkling personality, now you can!I should point out that this isn't a place to request commissions. I almost never take commissions because my schedule is stressful 24/7/365. It makes me feel bad that I'm almost never able to say yes to the ideas and requests of friends and fans, and I am sorry! Hopefully someday!
For
New Magica Ducktales Cel
Here's my LOVELY new cel from OG Ducktales, specifically the classic episode Magica's Shadow War.
As you can see, this cel is METAL AF due to the bigass pentagram in Magica's house! In the episode, the scenes with it are cropped and scenery covers much of the magic symbol.
As the Satanic Panic was in full swing during the 80s, it's kind of amazing Disney animators even thought they could get away with this! I love this cel so much. It's a beautiful piece, but the weird history behind it makes it that much more wonderful!
Next step is to get it framed and add it to my office wall!

I'm 4 years too late, but I'm gonna comment on this anyway:
I think you're one of the VERY few fans to get anything from Kathleen Barr. Sometimes I wish she wasn't a recluse, but I suppose that makes her all the more special.
Part of me wants to go, "Ha! Two can play at that game!" and try to surpass you in the amount of autographs out of envy, but honestly, what I ever done for the VA's? Nothing! You have actually done something to earn this, and I should be congratulating you like a good Brony.
(And plus I have like, no money to attend these cons, so even trying to beat you would be out of the question anyway.)
