For Beebarb

In this life there is very little certainty.  Each night we lay our heads down with the hope of leaving world kinder and better than we found it a few short hours earlier.  

I wish I knew you better as a friend.  But as a person your mark on the world, and especially on those you touched, is indelible and loving and good.  Thank you for believing in friendship and our better natures.  Thank you for being kind and generous.  And thank you for leaving the world a better place for all of us. 

For those who don't know, Beebarb was a mod on Equestria Daily.  Tragically and unexpectedly they past away over the weekend leaving many, many grieving friends, family and colleagues behind.  

Beebarb was a superhumanly patient and hard working moderator in EQD's comments section.  Personally, I was amused and touched that Beebarb had an OC pony very similar to my own and because of that felt that we shared a bit of a connection in the world of tiny horse fans. 

Be at peace and rest.  We all miss you.
