Here's my second redraw of 80s Disney sandwich bag characters!  This time it's Viking Donald.  Unfortunately, Don was incomplete, spread across the edges of two different bags with a big chunk of his middle just...not there.  I had to make some guesses and assumptions, but I think he's turned out nicely!

If you missed it, here's the first picture in the series, Cleopatra De Spell!

It took me years to learn how to draw Donald's bill perfectly. How about you?

I still can't draw it consistently!  Thankfully the CTRL-Z hotkey makes it easy for me to try, try again!

I'm glad that Donald was included in the Ducktales reboot, it took the reboot to make me realize why I didn't like the original series that much...Here were Uncle Scrooge and company going on once-in-a-lifetime adventures almost every day while Donald only job in the Navy was mopping the deck of an aircraft carrier as if he was a janitor for a fast food joint.  I didn't realize how much I hated how the original series swept Donald under the rug until the reboot had him join in the adventures, Donald being part of the gang should have been in the original series.

I think you did a great job reconstructing him. :) Don't mess with him, though, or he'll quack you up!

I don't think his belt buckle is supposed to be oval, the edge seems to be more like the one on this.
Unless you simply took some artistic liberty with it Blush
Either way, nice job!

You're totally right!  What edge is visible looks more rectangular with rounded corners.  But I did indeed just take some liberties, especially since there's already a bit of an oval motif in his gauntlets and shield.  Good spot!

Another excellent interpretation. I might scratch my chin over a couple of items, but you did a great job of filling in the blanks.

And wow, wasn’t the print registration really terrible back in the day?

There's SO MUCH bleed on the colors, especially reds and oranges!
