Whoa, thanks for using my art as inspiration. Had a lot of fun doing it and I think limiting your palette can seriously increase creativity!

i'm as confused as Chokuletu by transparency you meant not altering the opacity?
or you mean no transparent bg as well? o:
UszatyArbuz's avatar
Altering the opacity is never allowed in any of our challenges :P The canvas can be in any shape you want, if that's what you're asking? So it doesn't have to be square, or rectangular. Dimensions has to be smaller than 200x200 though :P

ohh okay thank you for clearing that up! *u*

So backgrounds cannot be transparent? o -o
UszatyArbuz's avatar
I can't tell you if your background has to be transparent or not :P The canvas can be in any shape you want, with no bigger dimensions than 200x200 pixels, and transparency cannot be used "inside the canvas".

Thanks o -o;
Still confused but not your fault! >w<;

Wow, I like this one. One question though - "use only these, exact colors" and "no transparency allowed" - does it mean that one of the colors has to be used as a background, filling the entire area?
UszatyArbuz's avatar
I think it will be easiest to do, but you can experiment with different dithering methods to create a gradient for example :nod:

I realize that, I just wasn't sure if the whole area needed to be filled with one of the colors. Thank you for the clarification.

Yes and yes... basicly you have to draw a complete scene with the two colors... think of them as black and white, I think that would help when creating. Like this one in the examples... Miiverse - Shulk by CharmanDrigo
