Spreadin' out her wings tonight...

    Well, this pic was certainly a long ride. Originally started as a quick sketch for the 30 minute challenge almost 2 months ago (theme was Wonderbolt Twilight) I decided to finish it properly since I felt the drawing had potential.
    Unfortunately, as I was wrapping up the lineart I managed to forget that SAI will continuously save your last format used (unlike Photoshop which always saves .PSD unless you specify otherwise) and thus managed to lose pretty much everything up to that point which bummed me out and I put off work on this for a while. This combined with a large number of projects for school (which I've left for the last moment, naturally) delayed this even further and though it actively took about a week or less to finish, it took around 2 months in total, ugh. 

In any case, I did my best to make this look good and, as usual, tried some new stuff while making it. Hope you enjoy it!
