Portret Z wz 2025r

This is a digital sketch. It started as a full-figure drawing, but I decided to focus first on a portrait fragment, with a hand holding something that may not even be a traditionally material object. It doesn’t emit light on its own, yet I depicted it as if it did, for reasons I can’t fully explain. (Hah, no, I can explain: efekciarstwo xD)

This character exists somewhere in the still-forming spaces of ideas for my future project, a book, a comic, or something. Maybe it doesn’t even need to be created at all, yet somehow all the elements fall into place so naturally. When the world you’re building stands firmly on its own logic, the characters begin to 'live' by themselves. Their words, reactions, and actions feel like they come from them and not from me, surprising at times, but always fitting.

I’m saying this now, but who knows. Maybe this story will eventually see the light of day or maybe it will end up buried with all the abandoned ideas. You never know
