Give Two Things Butterflies

Update 9/30/19: Updated photo for the listing. :)

Reads, To growing children give two things... one is roots the other... wings.

This project took a decent amount of time because they are butterflies! And anyone who does this sort of thing knows there are three very hard things to stitch: butterflies, animal fur, and full detail planets! :giggle:

Again, I've used beads instead of those icky french knots! This is a Dimensions kit.

Beautiful word. Wonderful saying. Never seen that one before. *Spazzes* butterflies!
(And I'm so with you on the French knot thing. I hate them.)

Those are beautiful butterflies, Pink, you've really done a quality job with them.

I've like french knots, but on things which are shiny, like butterflies, it's better to use beads! Makes it stand out more.

^_^ Thank you so much! I suppose I don't like french knots because I've never been good at them. :giggle: I'm glad you agree on the shiny part though!

This is so so pretty ... I love how you've used beads. I've just got home from the shops with my first bead purchase ... I don't even know how to stitch them on properly ... lol ... but I'm sure I'll figure it out. When I finish the piece I'm doing now I'll be doing a butterfly one ... I hope it turns out as well as yours has :)

:) Oh, thank you!
Beads are a little difficult. I know, as with most of the things I've done, I had to teach myself how, and I've always done it by pulling the thread through where the bead would go, putting the bead on, and then pulling the thread back out through the same hole.

Let me know when you get your butterfly one done, I'd love to see it! :D
