Hello, friends! Welcome to the first monthly CRLiterature Book Club!
This month, as you may have heard, we are reading THE HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY by Douglas Adams! Your host for the month is PinkyMcCoversong If you haven't done so already, be sure to pick up a copy of the book at your local library or bookstore. You can also order online from the usual suspects, or buy through Kindle, Nook, or other e-reading platforms.
Okay. So. How will this work? Here's the basics:
- This journal going live means that Book Club for the month has officially started! So go ahead and begin reading!(If you've already begun, no worries! Just be courteous about spoilers!)
- 2. The mid-month discussion will take place in the form of a journal with discussion in the comments section. This month's discussion will take place on JUNE 15, and will begin at 1pm PST. Please read chapters 1-13 by then, as we will be discussing these chapters in the journal. (Yes, you can read ahead. Again, please be courteous about spoilers!) Be sure to +watch the CRLiterature account so that you don't miss any journals, polls, or other announcements!
- 3. The end-of-month discussion will be a chat event, to take place on JUNE 29 at 1pm PST in the #CRLiterature chatroom. This will NOT be a spoiler-free event, so make sure you've finished the book before joining the discussion!
