Ayane The Shinobi

Me as Ayane from Ninja Gaiden : Razor’s Edge

Well … at first I didn’t plan to make this version of Ayane, I was making Dead or Alive 5 version of Ayane instead…
However suddenly, I watched new Ninja Gaiden trailer ( not really new tough, it just like an extended version of Ninja Gaiden 3) and I saw this Ayane

I really love the butterfly wing and because of her armors almost the same like DoA5 version one, I decided to make this version too!

But … the most favorite part of mine turns to be the most difficult part of all … I had made a total 4 pair of butterfly wings, from my trial and error experiences with various fabric and using various technique until I got the ‘not so bad quality’ one

Moreover, I think I won’t bring this costume to an event, because of the gloves … I couldn’t find any other materials which got that texture and color I want, so I choose that one (it’s like a semi wool or linen I think), and it hurts so much to be worn

Yeah, to tell you the truth, what you see in the picture does not reflect anything behind the scene, everytime I put on a costume, I never feel comfortable with it, art is painful somehow, but no pain no gain lol … I want to create an artwork so I should deal with it

I hope I will find another fabric that elastic enough but with the perfect texture and color for me to re-make the gloves~
