So here is my favorite picture of my Carriage Dress. This dress took me about a month to make. I worked on it off and on. I used a butterick civil war pattern and added and over skirt to make it look more like my inspiration plate, look in my journal for plate. I took this at the Dickens Christmas Fair. I love the way the costume turned out. It was my first attempt at Victorian clothing and I have to say I am really happy with the results.

Thanks, i just kinds stumbled on a floral fabric and that set the tone for the whole dress!
