was... well, cons just aren't as fun without your crew, and I didn't bring any costumes either.  I did get to wander around NYC with a very good friend and one of her BFFs, and share a room with one of my masquerade group homies.  We had a lot of fun, a LOT... just not cosplaying, and not really at the convention.  Wait.  YOU MEAN IT WAS A VACATION??  XD  I could use more of those.
