Deviation Actions
Anyone is free to use my stock, provided they follow my guidelines (see below)
If you would like to see my own original artwork (which may include some of the stock on this site), I can be found at . PLEASE NOTE: My original site is not a stock site. You must ask permission for those images if you would like to use them.
PinkStock Guidlines and Terms of Use</u>
Well, it's pretty much the same as most stock sites, but if you can't remember the common-sense guidlines, let me refresh them for you.
Using my stock on DeviantArt is comletely acceptable. Using my stock on any other site is also completely acceptable.
Revised:Any usage of my stock must be credited to this account, Pink-Stock, in your Artist's Comments, by way of linking to my account or putting my avatar up. The words "Pink-Stock" MUST appear somewhere in your Artist's Comments, whether it's like this pink-stock or like this . Please see the following if you don't know how to do this: FAQ #81: How can I create links to other deviants, deviations, or websites?
You MUST let me know (preferably in a note - but I won't butcher you if you leave a comment) when you use my stock. This is a very simple thing. Plus, by letting me know, you have the chance to be featured in my journal and added to my favorite list - a GOOD thing!
Using my stock for prints or other profitable works is allowed, but you MUST credit me and let me know! ANY violation of this will be reported.
Do not use my stock in inappropriate (ie. pornographic, racist, etc.) ways. Use it appropriately, or don't use it at all.
Any violation of my guidelines can and most likely will result in you being reported. Being reported for violating my guidelines can result in a ban or suspension. Please don't force me to do this - I don't want to be the cause of anyone's ban or suspension, but I will if I have to.
Requests are permitted - however I cannot promise that I will fill every request. All requests must be submitted by NOTE or EMAIL. Comments will be ignored.
Not a guideline, but a general note - these pictures have not been edited (save perhaps being cropped) at all. Brightness, contrast, saturation, etc. have not been changed. These pictures are in their absolute raw form. That being said, don't complain to me because the colours don't pop out enough. You can edit that in basic photo-editing programs.
Comments and critique is encouraged! Thank you for using my stock!

Art Theft.
This morning I checked my notes here on deviantART, to find one labeled "important." Normally, notes that say "important" are from someone who wants to use my stock in some sort of time-sensitive project and hasn't actually looked at my guidelines to see that they are free to do so. This important message, however, has totally crashed my good mood for the day.
I'm sure I'm a little late on the uptake here, but there was a major art theft from what seems to be numerous deviants. One of the pieces stolen was alx234 (https://www.deviantart.com/alx234)'s Lil Bit Fishy. This amazing piece of work, posted in 2009, was sold without out the artist's permission on the site art4lov
Long Time, No Talk
I just realised my last entry was from 2009.
That's a long time ago.
I go through phases where I post a lot of stock, and then go through some dry spells. This happens with all my hobbies - writing, knitting, basically everything I've ever been really interested. Unlike those, though, photography is something I've been doing since I was a kid, so while it's been awhile since I've posted anything, I still feel like I've been doing it forever.
Part of the reason I go on hiatus is just lack of inspiration or opportunity - it always comes back eventually. Another part is that I find if I focus too hard on any one particular thing, I get sick o
Repost
*I'm reposting this entry because I am getting really tired of posting comments on people's work regarding my guidelines. Please note that you have one chance to change your guidelines before your deviation is reported - I'm not trying to be mean but it is still my art, and you need to go by my guidelines to use it.*
This has happened enough times that I feel the need to change one of my guidelines. If you've used my stock in the past and haven't recieved a comment from me regarding the credit in your artist's notes, disregard this. If you're new to using my stock, PLEASE pay attention to this.

DD!
Holy good God in Heaven, I got a DD! I can't even believe it. And of course, it WOULD happen the week that I had no internet access, so it took me a whole 5 days to realise it!!! Thank you SOOOOO much to each and every person who faved and commented, I'll try to get back to everyone but I had 776 messages when I logged in - that's a whole lot! Thanks so much to UnicornReality (https://www.deviantart.com/unicornreality) for the feature and to shelldevil (https://www.deviantart.com/shelldevil) for suggesting it. I've been on dA for four years, as a stock artist for two and a half, and this is my first DD ever - it's so cool!!! Thanks and thanks and thanks again!

Good evening. I'm getting ready to publish a book of contemporary drama short stories called "American Darkness" and I'd like to use this pic for the cover: www.deviantart.com/browse/all/…
I'll be sure to mention "Pink-Stock" in the acknowledgments section. Is this okay?
