YumYum Easter Pikachu

Easter is already next week and the Pokémon Center has come out with an adorable new line of Easter-themed merchandise, so I just couldn't resist.  

As for the sketch.... this one needed more saving than I had hoped... having something around it's neck AND on its head REALLY threw things off when trying to draw it more in the anime/"classic" style than the super round, almost chibi-fied style they use for stuff like this. I did the best I could using some of my previous works to help fix up the shape of the head and the proportions of the face and such... but I'm still not 100% happy. I might still type to play around with it a bit before coloring. All the cleaning/playing around I already did made time a bit tight, so I wasn't able to "decorate" the eggs like in the sketch, but they will be when it comes times for proper color. The eggs themselves were cleaned up using a basic egg clipart and the weave on the basket was also a basic pattern found on Google because I wasn't happy with my attempt. The bow on the lining of the basket was also cleaned up using one of my previous works.
