[WiP] ''Starlight Honeymoon Double Therapy Kiss!''

Had an itch to do something Sailor Moon related since it has been a while and when this scene from the manga came up a while ago (I.... THINK it was on my Facebook feed?) I instantly remembered that I had wanted to draw it after reading the short stories for the first time back when the manga was reprinted. Coincidentally, it looks like we also finally recently got an update on the final part of Sailor Moon Crystal as well! It seems that, like with Eternal, "Cosmos" will be released as two movies to cover the Stars arc and will come out in Japan this summer. (..... which means that it'll take about another YEAR after that for the Dub to go up on stupid Netflix with NO DVD/BluRay release... )  

As for the sketch... I was clearly a bit too ambitious with this one for the time I had.... I Should have known better that working at  an angle like this is always hard because it takes a while to figure out how much I need to rotate things to make them symmetrical... Hopefully Usagi will be a little easier now that I have the angle/rotation down. (...provided it works out the same...) You can also see that this one needed a LOT Of saving. The head, face, hair and a lot of the details (the hair "shields", tiara, feather clips, etc.) were all cleaned up using some of my other works  and I used a basic star clipart for a couple other details. The Tiare was traced in for the sake of detail and because I was unhappy with my attempt.

Update: Managed to finish by adding in Usagi. Just like Chibi Moon, she was primarily cleaned up using some of my other works, but her wings, Tiare were traced in, as well as her "pigtails" because of cropping.

Pretty Soldier/Guardian Sailor Moon and all of its character, including Usagi/Sailor Moon and ChibiUsa/Sailor Chibi Moon, are (c) Naoko Takeuchi, Tokyo Pop, Toei Animation and any/all other respective owners. I do not own the characters in any way, shape or form, I am just a fan!
