[WiP] Shu-Chong: Matrix Evolution [UPDATE: 01/05]

No sketch here, this one is 100% digital manipulation/traced for the sake of looking as official as possible as well as achieving specific look I had in mind and for making it easier to edit/play with the features.

Update 01/05

"Cherubimon!" Final panel added. The image I used for the final pose came form (I believe?) some form of TCG with a bit of filling in from me using other official art, but the playful nature seemed just perfect for Shu-Chong.

The next two panels have been added. Cherubimon has been revealed and there's only one panel left!

I promised a more significant update this time around, and I have delivered! Fifth panel has been redone and updated to reflect the new perspective on the 6th, the seventh panel featuring Turuiemon has been updated and the either panel featuring Antylamon has been added. Just a few more panels left!

Update 11/24

Still didn't get a chance to go back and tweak the fifth panel, but I did add the seventh, featuring the Champion stage we DIDN'T get to see in action: Turuiemon! However.... after I thought about it a bit more, I figured out a slighting different way I want to present this part of the sequence, so that's going to be tweaked too. The next update won't be until the week after Thanksgiving, but expect it to be a little more significant!

Update 11/17

Wow, it's really been almost three months? Ugh.... well, as I've already stated, this next panel was very difficult due to Shu-Chong/"Susie" being so much younger and smaller than the others so, as you can see, I ended up having to completely change the usual perspective for this scene in order to make it work. As a result, I'm probably also going to go back and tweak the 5th panel to match the new perspective, but that should be a breeze.

Fourth panel added! This one actually went pretty smoothly since i was able to reuse a lot of the pieces from Jeri's sequence I did a while back and just resize them to fit Shu-Chong

Next panel added and hallelujah, the "Notify My Watchers" option appears under Advanced Setting if you update the main file of a deviation!

I've been wanting to do this one ever since I did Juri's a while back, I just couldn't find a good enough base image of Shu-Chong/Suzie until just now, thanks to a card from the TCG.

Unfortunately... updating this one as I progress is going to be a little more difficult now, thanks to DA's AWFUL  new uploading system, so I may be reduced to literally posting it as a new piece each week and then deleting the previous.... that being said, It may also be best to hold off on submitting to groups until I'm done...

Digimon Tamer and all of its characters, including Shu-Chong/"Suzie" and Lopmon belong to Naoyuki Itou, Toei Animation, and any/all other respective owners. I do not own the character in any way, shape or form, I am just a fan!
