[WiP] ''I saw this and thought of you'' *UPDATE*

UPDATE 7/31 I finally managed to finish up most of the third panel after slowly picking at it over the last couple weeks. The background in the final panel still needs a few more details, but I'm glad I at least managed to do something with it for now and that I was also able to finalize the layout of everything.

No sketch here. This one is 100% Digital manipulation/tracing for the sake of looking as official as possible as well as keeping with the exact image I had in my head as for the ease of playing with the features.

An overdue request from chaosshade who wanted something with Shadow and Sonia. Unfortunately, finding a decent "couplie" scene to use as a body reference proved more difficult than expected since the handful of good shots I was finding had already been modified, so I ended up using the scene from Episode 52 of Sonic X as an alternative take on the scene from the episode of Sonic Underground with Stripes.

As an extra wink at the Underground episode I thought it would be fun to replace the white rose Sonic gives Amy with the flower that Stripes gives Sonia, which appears to be a Tiger Lily, and funnily enough, it actually fits! Apparently, in the language of flowers, a white rose can represent young love and innocence while a Tiger Lily represents wealth, positivity and pride (I also saw "please love me"?)

back to the image itself, I'm intending for their to be a third panel, I just ran out of time before I could do anything with it. I'm also planning on playing with the formatting of the two panels here a bit and maybe the expressions... I think I also need to add a bit of the top of Sonia's gloves in the frame I have here already....  

Sonic the Hedgehog and all of its characters/creatures, including Shadow and Sonia are (c) SEGA/ Sonic Team, ARCHIE Comics, Fleetway Comics and any other Respective owners I may have missed or not be aware of. I do not own the characters in any way, shape or form, I am just a fan!
