I re-watched both Negima animes a while back, along with the more recent OVAs and Final movie and UQ Holder after only just finding out about them... (WHY did I only just find out about these? More importantly....Why haven't the OVAs and Final movie been dubbed? And WHY is there SUCH A GAP between where the animes  leave off and the OVAs/Movie pick up?) Why do the OVAs and Movie STILL have to skim over/skip around so much even WITH that gap? WHY don't the just reboot the series again and do it RIGHT now that the manga is finished?)

ANYWAY, I had been meaning to acknowledge it in some way, and I figured now would be a good time since it turns out I happen to share a birthday (including the year, even) with Zazie.... sort of.... I actually share a birthday with Ku Fei, but if you take the time difference into account, the 17th in Japan is still the 16th here in the US so technically Zazie still works XD (plus, I feel like I'm a bit more like her than... well... a "drunken fist" character and, albeit a tad revealing, her Pactio outfit really IS cute. It's also kind of funny that they would have two characters in the same class with birthdays only a day apart, but it worked to my advantage XD)

As for the sketch, the hands had to be traced in because I wasn't happy with my attempt (in my defense, one WAS partially covered by text and my reference image was relatively small so I lost a LOT of quality when I printed it) I also did end up using a clipart for the pompoms and fuzzy cuffs as a timesaver. I COULD have drawn in the texture myself, but I'm actually happier with the results this way.

Negima! and all of its characters, including Zazie Rainyday, are (c) Ken Akamatsu, Kodansha Comic and any other Respective owners I may have missed or not be aware of. (who DOES have the license now? FUNimation dubbed the original series and the '06 "soft reboot" if I recally, but UQ Holder was.... someone else?) I do not own the characters in any way, shape or form, I am just a fan!
