No sketch here, this one is 100% digital manipulation/traced for the sake of looking as official as possible as well as for achieving specific look I had in mind and for making it easier to edit/play with the features.
I'm a bit late to the party after working on my compilation for Johnny You Bosch over the last few weeks, but with Ash's final episode having come there have been plenty of tribute piece out there and so I wanted to add my own as well as take another crack at an old art piece from a long time ago.
For this I was inspired by the final image of Christopher Robbin and Pooh going off together in the final chapter of (I believe) "The House at Pooh Corner" and so I tried to make it actually LOOK like the page of a storybook. The Chapter number reflects the actual number of episodes and the name/formatting of the title is a direct reference to the Winnie the Pooh book. (I even pulled out our old Winnie the Pooh book to match it and took to google to search the most common font used in books.)
Pokémon and all of its creatures/characters, Ash/Satoshi and Pikachu are (c) Satoshi Tajiri, Nintendo, Game Freak, ViZ and all other respective owners may have missed/not be aware of. I do not own the characters in any way, shape or form, I am just a fan!
Winnie the Pooh has since entered the Public Domain, however, all due credit still belongs to A. A. Milne

How nice! Interestingly enough, I was thinking the same thing about their last episode being like the last chapter in The House at Pooh Corner.
