Super Silhouette: Cure Blossom

I'm reaching the end of Heartcatch Pretty Cure and recently got to witness their final powered up forms. Admittedly, this one is a bit more subtle than others in terms of changes in appearance, but I do love the rainbow heart "wings" and their new combined Heartcatch Orchestra attack. I might be tempted to the others individually later and fully recrate their group transformation end pose (since it WOULD give me an excuse to acknowledge Cure Moonlight...) but we'll see what happens.

As for the sketch, this one cleaned up surprisingly well because, admittedly, I was able to reuse a LOT of features from my original drawing of Cure Blossom (since it also helps keeps things nice an consistent) but I was also pleasantly surprised that the boots and hands all cooperated too, which also helped speed things up since I didn't have to go around and try to transplant them in from other official artwork. The only thing I really had to trace in was the little tiara on her head because it was just soooooo tiny in my printed reference I couldn't really make out the details very well and the "wings" and earrings were created form simple heart cliparts.

Pretty Cure and all relate characters, including Cure Blossom/Tsubomi Hanasaki, belong to Toei and any/all other respective owners. I don't own the character(s) in any way, shape or form, I'm just a fan!
