Super-Contest Dawn

So, not really Halloween-themed, but I've had this one loaded up since the most recent trailer for Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. The sketch has actually been ready to go for a couple weeks, too, but I had to put it off just because I KNEW that cleanup would be a nightmare..... and oh BOY was I right.....

Those stripes and ruffles nearly killed me and I think I shaved a few years off my life when I had a sudden panic-attack that I hadn't saved before taking a break and accidentally shutting down instead of putting my laptop in Sleep Mode. The hands were traced in because I wasn't happy with my attempt (and to fix a bit of cropping.... scanning this week was another hurdle I'd rather not relive) and the shoes you'll have to forgive.... my reference did NOT give me much to work with between a bunch of glowsticks and a Bibarel in the foreground blocking them out so after not being happy with my attempt I traced in what I could and tried to salvage them as best I could...

Pokemon and all of its creatures/characters, including Dawn/Hikari belong to Satoshi Tajiri, Nintendo, Game Freak, ViZ and all other respective owners. I do not own the characters in any way, shape or form, I am just a fan!
