Sending out my Love(-a-Lot)

A bit late for Valentines Day, but I still wanted to do something for the Holiday and to send everyone a little Love with Love-a-Lot Bear. Funnily enough, as a child I was actually a little bitter towards Love-a-Lot. Cheer Bear was my favorite (and the first Care Bear I had) and because Love-a-Lot was also pink I felt she was something of a copycat to Cheer. Of course now I see that their messages are completely different and so she has her place.

As for the sketch, this one cleaned up quite easily, as was the intent because I knew my first piece for the week would be a bit labor intensive. I did use my previous drawing of Swift Heart to help with the shape of the head and eyes and the little tuft of hair to keep things consistent and I used a basic heart clipart for the nose and belly badge to keep them clean and symmetrical.
